Watching Georgia State practice, the biggest takeaway was the pace. Everything is fast, up-tempo, and built around a next-play mentality. They put a huge emphasis on player development, constantly watching film, correcting mistakes, and teaching the game. One thing that stood out was how much they stress playing off two feet in the paint—a fundamental that translates at every level. For high school players in Georgia, Georgia State should absolutely be on your radar. It's a place where you can truly develop your game and, in many cases, have a better opportunity to earn minutes early compared to going straight to a Power 4 program. Development matters. Opportunity matters. Georgia State offers both. Coach Leek
