Left has a better UI, Right has a better UX. Also right is 2 minutes faster 🤣
Accept it or not but Apple Maps is better than Google Maps at navigation

No: #qubits are not 0 and 1 at the same time. Let’s dive into #quantum computing to understand that the reality is much more subtle. 🤏 itnext.io/stop-saying-a-qubi…

Been at GitHub for nearly 13 years and I'm pretty sure this request is more than 10 years old... 🆕Comment on unchanged lines in any file inside a Pull Request is now available Gotta keep the core of GitHub getting better every day. 🫡

Like always @blackfireio helped a lot measuring the impact of the new @symfony JsonStreamer component! Serialization's share of the total request fell from 83% to 45% thanks to streaming – achieving an awesome 70% time saving and 50% memory reduction!

actually, I would have preferred markdown to PowerPoint / Word.
Microsoft quietly released an MCP server that converts any Office file (Powerpoint, Word, Excel) to markdown: markitdown-mcp

The french Moutain and Climbing Sport Federation @FFME_officiel just sent an email to report a data breach ☠️. All personal information of their members (present and past) was publicly accessible. I'm not surprised, I warn them about the vulnerability in July 2021 🤷‍♂️ !

ok guys I did some benchmarks and appearently java is fastest and best language

this project is so cool! next time I need to implement a loop that does nothing 1 billion times, I know where to find the fastest language for this!
More languages, more insights! A few interesting takeaways: * Java and Kotlin are quick! Possible explanation: Google is heavily invested in performance here. * Js is really fast as far as interpreted / jit languages go. * Python is quite slow without things like PyPy.

ie. ideal world for me: only « extends » (remove traits & interfaces) and allow multiple inheritance. Much simpler :)

Thanks to a couple contributors, Ghostty has built-in VCS branching characters. Kitty introduced this[1] and I think Ghostty is the second terminal to implement it. The cool detail in this one: for the end markers they're drawn with a true fade (see line 13). [1]: github.com/kovidgoyal/kitty/…
