Pastor JD shares how it is incumbent upon all of us to be open, flexible, and fresh as new wine skins and new cloth to the new wine and the new insight into Bible prophecy. It should be a fluid, not static, learning and increasing in understanding of Bible prophecy.
From the Bible Prophecy Update from April 26th, 2026: Rethinking What’s Thought and Taught About Bible Prophecy
Pastor JD points out that Iran is in Ezekiel 38, which should bring some needed clarity to what is happening in the world right now. Regardless of who is moved into rule, we're told in the Word that God directs leaders and uses them for His glory and His purpose in the end.

Join us for the livestream Thursday, October 29, at 7:30 PM HST. Through Nebuchadnezzar’s humbling and restoration in Daniel 4, we are called to surrender our pride, acknowledge God’s sovereignty, and embrace His transforming grace. Taught by Assistant Pastor Leitu at Calvary Kaneohe.
Pastor JD warns that the Holy Spirit never gives us a spirit of fear, that's one of Satan's schemes. Instead, God gives us power, love, and a sound, disciplined mind to take every thought captive.

Pastor JD contrasts living for self with offering ourselves fully to God as a living sacrifice. It’s a willing decision and an ongoing war between the flesh and the spirit, but it’s all God really wants.
From the Bible Prophecy Update from August 17th, 2025: Conformed To This World Or Transformed By God’s Word
Pastor JD exhorts us to always be prepared to give an answer for the hope we have, knowing that our lives are living epistles being read by those around us who are watching to see if our faith is real and if it works.
