Firstly, awful that this happened to Reveille and glad she is OK.
Secondly, Eyepatch Rev goes incredibly hard.
Our beloved Reveille X recently underwent surgery to relieve discomfort from glaucoma, and thanks to the extraordinary care of our Texas A&M veterinary team, she’s now resting comfortably. She means the world to the Aggie Family, and we’re so grateful she’s on the mend — we can’t wait for her to be back doing what she loves this fall.
My dishwasher needs to be unloaded, and dishes are in my sink.
That doesn’t correlate to the focus I give my Faith, family, or work
Thread 🧵
To all the Strength and Conditioning coaches who say to their athletes “How you do something is how you do everything”
Wrong.
Look how long my grass is. I’ve neglected cutting it.
You know what I have not neglected? Taking care of my relationship with God, wife, or kids.
Nor have I neglected my job and all my responsibilities as a S&C coach and business owner.
If you are a S&C coach who says this ridiculous saying, good news, you can change. Just stop saying it, it’s incorrect.
Don’t use that anymore as a weapon against athletes.
Who else agrees? I know @briankight does!
Much needed change in tone and priorities from the top.
Strength equals readiness. Kicked off the day with PT alongside the warriors of 1/10 SFG.
No bureacracy—just sharp minds, strong bodies, and a mission-first mindset.

Texas A&M initially planned to host Tarleton State in Kyle Field next season. A&M AD Trev Alberts told GigEm247 that that game has been pushed to 2026 – and replaced with Samford in 2025 – to accommodate a request from the Texans. 247sports.com/college/texas-…

Christ follower, don’t get so wrapped up in the political vortex that you forget & ignore the Great Commission. Don’t be so hellbent on annihilating the “other side” that you forfeit your opportunity to witness. God wants to save the very person you’re trying to destroy. Selah🙏🏽

Your mental health needs to be a priority. So don’t be afraid to talk about what you are going through. We are all struggling with something and talking about it isn’t a sign of weakness. It shows strength. Don’t struggle in silence.

Our thoughts and condolences are with the family and friends of former Texas A&M swimmer Jessica Sloan.
I really don’t know how many times we have to say this. You. Cannot. Train. Athletes. Like. Military.
