The reality of course is that in Canada, the US, France, India, Mexico, the UK and Swiss, suffrage extends to nearly 100% of people living in the territory controlled. The one exception is Israel. If you redo this chart with trying to be misleading, as the Israeli government does here, Israel would be at the bottom. Some 6 million Palestinians living under the Israeli governments rule, have no right to vote for that government.

Flat out ethno-racist hysteria and demagoguery.
Sit this one out and this is whose side you’re on.
Sen. @tedcruz (R-TX) says that if U.S. Sen. candidate Abdul El-Sayed (D-MI) is elected into the Senate and is placed in the Senate Intelligence Committee, "there is a very real risk that Americans will die as a result."
“Difficult”
UPDATE: 5 Scenarios in Israel after election

2- Eisenkot bloc +Arab parties: Difficult
3- Netanyahu+ Eisenkot bloc defectors: Unlikely
4- Eisenkot minority gov, Arabs out but support: Maybe

A lot of pundits are going to write a bunch of convoluted things about the election results in Israel, but the situation is simple: the opposition could IMMEDIATELY form a non-Netanyahu government with a clear majority, if - and only if - they invite the Arab-led parties to join.

Out of touch liberal elites don’t understand that for the average American the Cheesecake Factory is the nicest place they can imagine. For these people, sweatpants are like tuxedos. They think of Tweety Bird as a kind of God. Don’t you dare condescend to them.
America, at some point you have to recognize that your friend is blind drunk and crazed with rage, and your job *as a good friend* is to take the fucking keys away from him.
Defining strikes against targets inside occupied Ukrainian territory as “offensive” rather than “defensive” is… Well, it’s a take!
Replying to @elonmusk
For the fools out there, Zelensky himself posted about using Starlink for offensive drone strikes, which has always been against Starlink’s terms of service:

I’m not someone who insists that total victory for Ukraine is the only acceptable outcome here. But what makes this so gross is the underhandedness. If you want to kneecap Ukraine to force them to accept terms, then stand up and do it publicly.
A senior Ukrainian commander told me he lost more than $1 million in drones the first night StarShield went out. The next 3 days, speeds remained so unstable they canceled almost all ops striking RU logistics to protect Ukrainian infantry in the kill zone nytimes.com/2026/10/21/world…

Quite the pitch from the US ambassador to the EU
I’d bet that, of all the constitutional amendments you could float, creating a wealth tax would be the easiest to actually pass.
My take on wealth taxes is they won't work well at the local or state level, because you're targeting the people with the greatest means and motivation to just pick up and move somewhere, and they won't work well at the national level, because they'd almost certainly require a constitutional amendment, just as federal income taxes did (the 16th Amendment), so in both cases you're creating a levy that is basically designed to disappear.
A country can certainly fail to assimilate its immigrants. Which can result in violence and unrest. But that failure results from bad policy choices. (Generally of the economic variety.) Not because of mismatches in any sort of fixed or essentialist “cultural” attributes.
