@FasdKids has asked the gov't to expand the CYSN to include all children with a diagnosed disability immediately. And, to invest a lump sum to create a Provincial assessment team to catch up on getting children diagnosed in a timely way. 1/
Every Child should be given all the necessary tools to thrive in school. Thriving there is the first step to thriving as an adult.
We NEED to SPEAK UP!! Change won't happen unless we do!
Dyslexics in BC need 1) Early Screening 2) Structured Literacy 3) Trained Teachers 4) Access to Accomodation 5) Funding
This needs to be done with Legislation.

This is 100% true! There are so many children who require extra supports to succeed in school and life. There needs to be a plan in place that ensures no child is left behind.
Adequate funding in schools.
Proper medial system for diagnosis.
Thank you for opening up the conversation to families and care givers. There’s still more work that needs to be done.
Diagnosis takes far too long in BC that needs to change. More professionals need to be recruited into this field and retention a priority. #VoiceAndChoiceBC

It’s been a year since I started the Petition against the thoughtless cuts to Autism Individual Funding. Since then over 24,000 people have signed, and Still NO response from the @bcndp despite reaching out multiple times. #AutismAwareness
I love to be involved but in my own ways.

Interesting that MCFD has given the Indigenous community the right to keep their children in care and away from the racist system MCFD built.
Now they intend to take over the Individualized funding for #Autism. Is this just a ploy to keep your jobs?
