📺 We were on @BBCBreakfast this morning! Our Group Manager Lee Bourne spoke about the dangers of e-bikes and e-scooters following an increase in related fires both regionally and nationally.
If you have an e-bike or e-scooter please follow our advice to ensure you and your family’s safety:
🚲🛴 Always buy from reputable retailers
🚨 Fit a smoke alarm in the room where you charge your e-bike/scooter
📖 Follow manufacturers guidance for charging and storing
💤 Don't charge when you're asleep or out of the house
♻ Dispose of batteries safely at recycling and waste centres
