NVIDIA built a surgical simulator where you move the instruments and AI generates what happens next. Cosmos3-H-Dreams learns from real gallbladder surgery recordings paired with robot motion data. Start with the same image, change the tool movements, and it generates different continuations of the scene. It runs interactively on a single RTX PRO 6000 GPU, with two-step and four-step models offering a tradeoff between speed and visual quality. Still a research simulator, with clinical accuracy requiring validation. But the demo is impressive: a generated scene that responds to your actions as you move.

If you can’t bake a cake, don’t blame the oven If you can’t use AI well. don’t blame the model

Striving to lead a life that you, yourself, find interesting is a surprisingly great way to end up achieving your dreams If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice (Rush)
Elon Musk in his latest interview on the possibility that we live in a simulation. “If simulation theory is correct, then any simulations that are boring will be truncated. The fact that we exist means that we are an interesting simulation. And really the most important thing is just don't be boring. You know, I once had a dinner at my house with a physicist and a computer scientist, and they're both like leaders in their field. And I asked the question, what do you think the probability is that we're in a simulation? And the physicist said 0%, and the computer scientist said 100% simultaneously. So I guess maybe I should go 40% then. I don't know. I mean, there's odd things that happen in the simulation, especially if you're me. I mean, think about it. Like if you're me and you're like, should all these things really be happening? Should I really be making spaceships to go to the moon and Mars? Like, what the? That doesn't seem real.”

Spoke about this to folks during the AI Engineer conference in SF. It is likely that there will be many more such regulations.
The Department of Homeland Security is requiring all civilian federal agencies to remove DeepSeek products and 'any third-party services developed using DeepSeek implementations,' and to stop buying them.

En 10 ans, le président de la République a été incapable de construire les 10 000 places de prison promises. En 6 mois, le Salvador a construit 40 000 places de prison. C'est une question de volonté politique.

Why isn't there a real competitor to YouTube for general-purpose long-form video content? There are much smaller platforms, but none have really taken off and taken any of YouTube's market share. Is it time Elon launched a YT competitor that focused primarily on video?

This is going to be a great week, isn't it? God has given us another day, we have a lot of beautiful weather across the country right now and warming up, and there are incredible improvements in tech every single day that slowly will make life better and more affordable for all.

Love this prayer ☦️ “Thou hast smitten me with yearning, O Christ, and by Thy divine love hast Thou changed me. But with Thine immaterial fire, consume my sins and count me worthy to be filled with delight in Thee, that leaping for joy, O Good One, I may magnify Thy two comings.”

haha ok now capturing the pencil data + the airpod data gonna line up the signals and build the first reconstruction model but first, gonna go enjoy this 80° SF weather
Ok fun progress I got the sensor data from AirPods now adding pencil Next will look into how much data I need and what I’ll have to do on model side

Introducing Hugo: the first human companion robot. At Boston Dynamics, I was Chief Strategy Officer, bringing robots into the real world. My co-founder, Farbod Farshidian, led research at the RAI Institute. Together, 15+ years teaching robots to run, jump, and work. So we asked: what if robots could connect with people? Hugo runs on the first Vision-Language-Expression (VLE) model. He links what he sees and hears to movement, expression, and gesture. He notices you, reads the room, and reacts in real time. And he's only the first. Dynamic Creatures is @BostonDynamics' official entertainment and hospitality partner. We're building a cast of characters with film studios, resorts, and theme parks. dynamiccreatures.com
