Everyone seems to be panicking about AI finding security vulnerabilities in PHP. But are we missing the actual problem here? It’s not AI’s fault. But AI is the reason. Organisations have been identifying and patching vulnerabilities for decades. Sometimes through vulnerability scans, sometimes through vendor hotfixes, sometimes because somebody’s spotted something that needs sorting. Companies like Symantec and McAfee built entire businesses around helping organisations identify and protect against threats. InfoSec teams do this stuff every day, using some pretty sophisticated tooling. Some vulnerabilities are genuinely frightening. Others are relatively harmless. None of this is new. What’s changed is the speed. AI can now identify vulnerabilities at a pace that organisations simply aren’t built to respond to. And here’s where it gets interesting. Criminals can use AI too. They can potentially identify and exploit vulnerabilities faster than ever before. So why don’t businesses just fight AI with AI? Well, they can. And they should. But there’s a catch. You can’t just throw patches into a live enterprise environment and hope for the best. They need testing. Impact assessments. Change approvals. Deployment planning. Rollback procedures. Because anyone who’s worked in IT operations knows that a badly implemented fix can cause more damage than the vulnerability you’re trying to resolve. And that’s the real problem. The attackers can move at AI speed. The defenders are still constrained by the speed of their operating models. It’s like cops and robbers. The robbers have suddenly been given roller skates, while the police are still filling out the paperwork to get theirs issued. The crime hasn’t changed. The speed of the chase has. So perhaps the question businesses should be asking isn’t whether AI is creating a cybersecurity crisis. It’s whether their IT operating models, change processes and governance are capable of keeping up with the technology they’re now trying to defend. Because finding vulnerabilities faster is a good thing. Not being able to respond to them fast enough? That’s the real risk.

What a picture this is ❤️⚽️ Days like today are a good reminder that football clubs at our level don’t just happen by magic. So much hard work goes in behind the scenes by people giving up their time because they care. Pitch looking spectacular today and that’s down to some very good people at @arundelofficial who do so much that often goes unseen.

Yesterday felt a bit more like us again. 2-0 up and then pegged back by two good goals, with the second one right at the death which obviously stings. But for big parts of the game I thought we were the better side, and if I’m honest it’s been a little while since I’ve come away saying that. Still got lads getting back up to speed, still asking people to do jobs for us, still nowhere near perfect. But there was loads more to like. Nearly 400 there for Ground Hop too which was brilliant for the club. Feels like we’re starting to see that light we all need ❤️⚽️
Todays attendance is 379👏👏👏👏 Thank you 🔴⚫️

Second report of a racial incident in @TheSCFL Div 1 this season. Not from the stands towards the game, but from within the game itself. Why is there such silence around it ? The first incident has had no comms, no clarity, almost felt hush hush - as i cant see anything publicly. Someone please tell me I’m wrong and point me to the public facing engagement by any of the parties - even to say something of some sort happened and is being investigated for accuracy etc etc - a sort of holding statement to recognise work, discovery and actions are in place to validate the accusations etc. Yesterday’s incident almost felt ignored from the reports I’ve had today. There are 2 threads to this - 1) the ongoing discussion of this happening in society 2) what feels the lack of action at the time and after the event, followed by subsequent actions, communication and even learning. I’d love the @ibb10show to debate this in the next show to ensure it does not become an elephant in the room in Sussex and then in turn, force the discussion and engagement with the league and any other official parties that are relevant. What I do know is, the accounts given to me by both credible and solid people on both events are flabbergasting when we think about it through the lens of the 2 threads I mention above. I know there are 2 sides to every story and i really do hope there is in this case - hence the plea to talk about it and not allow it to become the elephant. ❤️

Scrappy 1-1 today and we definitely made life hard for ourselves. Still really depleted, a few lads coming back who need minutes, square pegs in round holes again… but we kept going and had enough chances to win it. The bit I’ve kept thinking about though is one of the opposition coaches having to leave after some bad family news - really puts football in perspective. Hope him and his family are okay. @OakwoodFC , please pass on my best wishes ❤️

🚨 NEW: Andy Burnham is set to scrap the law that bans football fans from drinking in the stands "I don’t see how it can be fair that some supporters of one sport can be treated differently"

Funny old game. We’ve had a really difficult week or two and I wasn’t quite sure what last night was going to give us. Then the boys go away to a team a league above, get in front and absolutely battle for each other. Late equaliser, lose on pens and obviously everyone’s gutted. But I’ve missed seeing a bit of that from us. Last night I saw it again ❤️⚽️
