SITUATION DETECTED: Researchers at MIT show that GPT-6 Astra can natively read and write neural network weights through pure reasoning - no gradients, no training loops - calling it Weight-Space Programming.

Think of what attacks can be performed using this in a domain hard to follow for conventional tools for spotting misalignment. A model can be triggered not only by words but entire context to misbehave without anyone notices otherwise. This will also be a great way to fine tune!
We asked GPT-6 Astra to edit Qwen3.5-0.8B weights to improve math. It directly changed only 0.016% of weights, fixing 0.8B's reasoning loops & improving math up to 6x and even instruction following 3x, without gradients or training. We call this Weight-Space Programming: frontier LLMs can now natively read/write neural network weights! 🧵 Blog: rikiyat.github.io/blog/weigh…

starknet is down about 20% today and i’m seeing a lot of takes that go something like: “everyone had to buy an absolute shitcoin like starknet over the weekend, and when garbage like that pumps you know the move is over and crypto is about to correct.” people can think that, it’s fine. what’s funny is a lot of the same people were bullish last night on a strong weekly close. my read on most of those posts is: “tell me you missed the move without telling me you missed the move” the token went 2.5x in five days. so yes, it’s off the high on a day when the whole market is red. after a move like that i’d be more surprised if it didn’t pull back. it’s coming into the 9c area, which looks like support to me. it could go a good bit lower than that and the structure would still look fine. and that’s only the chart. the reasons i bought it around 4 cents are all still there: the quantum angle, the privacy narrative, the team talking about becoming a layer 1, and more in the pipeline. i said in the original post that if this got going it would be a hated rally. seems about right so far.

Every Ekubo swap on Starknet is proven by STARK proofs, which are hash-based and expected to withstand quantum computers. If Starknet becomes the quantum-resistant L1 it is now considering, its DeFi won't be starting from zero. The largest DEX on the network is live today at ekubo.org, private swaps included.
We are actively considering becoming an L1. This would enable Starknet to become the first fully quantum-resistant network, with 2027 as our target.

I don't think people realize just how much AI's latest breakthroughs in math have shocked mathematicians, myself included. The main thing that leaves me and many mathematicians shocked is what AI is solving: Early on – till about 4 months ago – AI was good at: (i) solving problems that humans already solved, like Math Olympiad problems (ii) finding out that a problem in field A was already solved by an obscure work in field B, using a different terminology (or language). But starting with the shocking work on the Erdos Unit Distance Problem, and up till the recent advance on Navier–Stokes, a totally different AI is seen. It is innovating. It's bringing a new set of tools to the problem, and then proceeding to using those tools very delicately and accurately to achieve the result. It's a bit like how a brain surgeon delicately operates on the exact region that needs fixing. This is absolutely shocking and unexpected. It raises the question of what exactly constitutes mathematical intuition and brilliance. Many a mathematician have written about it (I love Henri Poincare's treatise "Mathematical Creation"). But we don't understand how mathematicians reach their breakthroughs. Now, it's the same with AI, we don't understand how it goes about reaching these proofs but the end result is objectively new, and powerful. This creativity, insight, ingenuity, is what's shocking to me.

ALERT! Our system detected an attack that drained ~$7.8M from a Gnosis Safe wallet on Ethereum (0x40E93a52F6Af9fCD3b476aeDADD7FeABD9f7AbA8). The root cause was a flawed authorization check in the executor contract (0x4f0055926c839D1d960a82CBF84E2eE933958ebC). Setting the supplied contract parameter to address(this) passed validation, allowing attacker-controlled calls to execute from the trusted executor through an enabled Safe module. The exploit moved ~2,900 aEthrsETH into a Uniswap V4 pool paired with the worthless “Permissionless Attacker Token” (PAT), leaving the Safe with a worthless LP NFT. The original attack transaction was front-run by the MEV bot yoink, which captured ~2,882 rsETH (~$7.8M) and routed it to 0xC70f00CD7E461686b04B0E912E309becA8b80ea0. We just increased the included usage of Grok models in Cursor! Demand has been increasing with the launch of Grok 4.6. We already doubled limits last month with more compute. And now we're raising limits again permanently. Enjoy!

Replying to @Starknet @credilabs
Until now, moving a private credit book to a blockchain meant leaking it: borrower terms, counterparty structure, LP positions, all in the open. @Credilabs lets you allocate into short-duration receivables and earn yield while the book, and your position, stay private.

mass surveillance is coming > first 5 votes fail > have another vote > invoke technicality to require majority to vote AGAINST rather than requiring majority to vote FOR > do it when everyone's on vacation so not enough numbers to vote against demonic creatures
CHAT CONTROL IS COMING Even though most Members of the European Parliament have voted to REJECT Chat Control, we have not been able to reach the absolute majority that was needed (361 Members). This is a sad day for Europeans.

This is not democracy. You can't simply try to pass the same law a hundred times until it finally succeeds. Stop Chat Control once and for all.
