“If the canola crop was harvested in mid-September, approximately 73 per cent of cleavers, 65 per cent of wild buckwheat and 90 per cent of kochia seeds would remain on weed plants.” buff.ly/3Wt2YOE #HWSC #Terminate #SeedBank

Canadian farmers- what questions do you have about harvest weed seed control or weed seed destroyers that you would like answered? Looking at planning some outreach and want to answer the questions you have, not the ones I think you have! #WestCdnAg #WeedScience #HWSC

Sneak peak at our #swatcam UI within @swatmaps #swatrecords software. Over 10k images auto-captured in this field in 2021 on a sprayer. What did we learn? Crop established within and between #swatzones very evenly and weed pressure was low. #variablerate strategy 👍 #swatresearch

Inside combine cleaning made easier. Worked a treat this season. One of the many small tools needed to control and prevent grass weed spread on our farm.

"Reddekopp ran two S790 combines with erminators & two without. The combines with Terminators harvested about 3,600 acres each & Reddekopp says both operated well “all we had to do was grease & check belt tensions on the units as part of our regular combine maintenance routine"

A good illustration of the impact of harvest weed seed management.

The missed seeding strip does infuriate me. But at least we can see that the chaff decks are doing what they are supposed to. It will be sprayed out with a solid double knock this week.

We have all heard about the HR weeds in Western Australia. Here’s a farmer who has basically cut out in crop sprays.......What?! Just a question how much yield are theses in crop chemistry’s costing us in western Canada? #hrweeds @seed_terminator @westgreenag
