Happy book birthday to Land of Broken Promises, the story that has taken me my whole life to write. I never dreamed I’d publish a book about my childhood as an undocumented immigrant. Thanks @literaticat, @alexandra_coops , @rosemaryhb, @QuillTreeBooks , @juliaskuo!

So grateful for this opportunity to "chat" with the supremely talented @juliaskuo . This conversation debunks some of the myths surrounding author/illustrator collaboration and even touches upon our shared Taiwanese American experience. #mglit #weneeddiversebooks #bookcovers

How badly does Apple want to extract its 30% tax on subscription revenue from top apps like Tinder, Plenty of Fish, Bumble, HBO, Masterclass, and Babble? Enough to *secretly buy Google ads* directing people to the App Store - just to make sure they don’t sign up on a website. 🧵
