Don't forget to check out the @automattic wp.cloud , it's at a similar level as the big four.

At @automattic we invest deeply in security, so your @WordPress doesn't have rough days, our shield was up just like Cloudflare, and even better everything was patched on @WordPressdotcom @Pressable and @WordPressVIP , who didn't have a second of downtime.
Na Gilles De Bilde, nu Stijn Stijnen. @VTM vindt het blijkbaar leuk om commentators te vinden in voetballers die graag agressie laten zien.

Critical security releases for PHP: store owners are encouraged to update their installations of PHP now.
If you're on Automattic infrastructure (@wordpressdotcom, @WordPressVIP, @Pressable, @wpcloudofficial), you're protected. Otherwise check for updates from your web host.

New case study on our blog for @WooCommerce. We audited 43 extensions for #a11y. Teams at @Automattic and @Fueled remediated and we published #Accessibility Conformance Reports. ~500 accessibility issues were resolved + now merchants have much more transparency when comparing plugins. equalizedigital.com/woocomme…

WordPress often gets treated as a legacy platform, and is seen as the "old thing" people should be moving away from. However it turns out that for AI agents it's one of the best-prepared platforms on the web.
In my new post on the Elementor blog, I wrote about how WordPress has offered content in a number of machine-readable ways almost since day one, which is before most of the people building agents had a website. Or had graduated high school. Or were born...

A few weeks ago, @photomatt shared this tweet with me. We used @gorgiasio's rubric to benchmark the AI we use on @WooCommerce and @wordpressdotcom, and published the results. Odie performs really well, but we're committed to making it even better!

Everyone should publish the deepest, most direct competitive evals they can
Will there always be some bias? Yes
But @gorgiasio did it the right way in ecomm CX:
👉Open-sourced the whole harness
👉8,356 live conversations, 18 vendors
👉#1 in support, but they show Yuma resolving more
👉Envive beats them in pre-sale, and that's on the page too

Have been thinking a lot about Eric over the past few weeks and was blessed to get to know him well during my time at Automattic. We worked together closely and both took similar approaches to how we did things.
He was curious and a natural leader with really interesting and different life experience than many guys in our industry. I gravitated towards him as did many others and looked up to him both personally and professionally. I always knew it would be a fun meetup when he was on the list.
He loved what he did and pushed people to improve. In many ways he didn’t even know he was doing that. Anything he got involved with became better. He lead by example. He was the first to try new was of doing things. If something was off, he just fixed it. Despite only being around him for such a limited time, he was a deeply impactful person to me.
It is heartbreaking to see him gone so soon.

We have a new default theme for @WooCommerce available now, called Purple. It's early days, but is already a great starting point for block-based, commerce-centric @WordPress sites. Help us improve it!

In honour of our pirate-in-chief @photomatt, a Wolfenstein type game. So much fun.
it's live 🏴☠️ Krakenstein 3D: raycaster below deck, skeleton crew with flintlocks, a blunderbuss to find, and a kraken boss that spits ink and slams tentacles amber-action.space.fast/
So fun
In the last few days I got a burst of inspiration and decided to spend around ~12 hours vibing a game.
All of this powered by @SpacefastHQ, so it was super easy to ship: open-web-survivors.view.fast…
@photomatt might or might not make a cameo on the new boat. 🏴☠️
If you want to have unbridled fun, go check out @SpacefastHQ. You can create full games just by promoting your AI tool of choice. Or you can just ask @SpacefastBot to do it for you.
