Don’t care who would have won, 3-on-3 is the worst way to decide a championship or medal.

This is not ok. A $250 increase for a carry-on bag?? Lunatics. This is an insane way to cut down on people over crowding the carry-on space. You're essentially having to decide between $137 for a checked bag, and $250 for a carry on? This is utter insanity, WestJet

Unless you are taking an overnight trip somewhere, and all you need is a backpack. The actual "Base Price" is $334. Which is higher than previous base fare average for this route, but now you have to wait for your bag. Which you had to do 1/2 the time anyway because of gate check

Furthermore! If you are taking sports equipment like skis or golf clubs, you'll either have to check two bags on Ultrabasic, or pay the Econo price + a checked bag fee. Buy westjet stock. I bet they have a historic high quarter with these new fees. (Not actual financial advice)
