Appropriately, our consultation submission has been received like a rocket. Reminds me of the #moonshot analogy in my initial blog proposing a health equity target.
The PM is set to announce a new set of short-term targets to back up his 5 missions. But NHS access targets alone will not deliver national renewal.
While it's not a quick-win, he needs to keep his eye on the bigger prize.

I have a very gentle John Prescott anecdote that says something about his political tribalism.
When I worked in the Cabinet Office he was the Minister in the building next door (Admiralty House).
Two Christmas trees were procured and went up in each building, on with blue and silver baubles and one red and gold. I chatted to the guys putting our one up as we used to play football with them.
