One fun way for journalists to use AI: Ask the strongest model to which you have access to do a deep dive on your work and find where it was cited or otherwise had an impact. You'll find things you had absolutely no idea about

Someone impersonated a WSJ lawyer and had X take down this thread for violating copyright. It’s now back online. ICYMI: @BoHines’s company earned millions from @Tether as he led the White House’s crypto agenda. wsj.com/politics/policy/cryp…
SCOOP: While Bo Hines was leading the White House’s push to pass the Genius Act, Tether—the company with the most at stake in the bill—was steering millions of dollars to a company he co-owned. Right after the bill passed, Tether hired him as its U.S. chief. [Gift link] wsj.com/politics/policy/cryp…

Seven more companies are objecting to being included in OKXICE's tokenized securities venue, including Microsoft, Google and Goldman Sachs. That brings the total to 16 So at least a quarter of the 63 stocks intended to be in this tokenized stock market are out

It seems like such an obvious branding error to release Muse, a wildly popular consumer-facing app, and then to roll out a bunch of announcements on models that do not currently apply to the consumer-facing app but are also called Muse

I often write that an investment in Fannie/Freddie common stock is a bet on what they decide to do with the liquidation preference In the short term though, it's a bet on whether Trump or an administration official tweets something like "Long live Fannie and Freddie!" within the next couple months

Few things are more annoying than reaching out for comment, getting radio silence after multiple requests, but then finding out that your reach-out did result in being added to their distribution list

Seems like the TV show Lioness should end with all the main characters going to jail

Agent to daughters: "I've chosen to serve this country to protect this way of life" -- 10 minutes pass -- Agent to bad guys(?): "You see this badge? This means you have no rights and the Constitution doesn't apply to me" *bang bang* -- 10 minutes pass -- Boss: "Welp. Turns out it wasn't a bad guy. Oh well what's done is done"

I'm officially suspending my @standwithcrypto @SenThomTillis grade tracker to spend more time with my family. He's probably an A or a B right now. Thank you for reading
Tillis is an "A" again

Tillis is an "A" again
He's a "B" again! I don't know, man, this is starting to feel arbitrary

Feels like weeks ago I was reading about the stablecoin bull case being that AI agents were going to need stables to do stuff like monitor flight prices and buy on your behalf. Now we have a wildly successful AI agent and crypto isn't part of it at all?

It's not uncommon at all for the press to close ranks when administration press attacks move beyond rhetoric to access and unequal treatment
Bessent on Trump's ban on the free press: "I've been traveling. I don't know much about it." (Note that the administration has even lost Joe Kernen on this ... )

Tillis was bumped back up to an "A"
Kind of rough for @standwithcrypto to knock @SenThomTillis for his Clarity vote. It was a procedural move to let him bring the bill back up again if they were able to reach a deal later
