the RS60 came from the factory with just "Boxster S" on the trunk lid. Previous owner put a Spyder badge on, but it looked bad, so I modeled up a proper badge from the 1960 718s (the same that's on the door sills)
This is such crybaby energy. You guys sent out a release/email that says "This guy and Palmer Luckey started a company" and then are mad that the billionaire mentioned IN THE OPENING SENTENCE OF YOUR PRESS RELEASE is in the headline of the article.
You're trying to have it both ways. If Palmer's involvement isn't important put it lower in your own press release. You just don't like their headline and angle. Which, you know, tough shit.
I'd be a lot less pissy if you guys were politely trying to get changes made in private but go from zero-to-LIAR!!! in public is low character. Everyone deserves the truth from a media outlet but you don't play publicity/positioning games with form and language and then throw a tantrum when they WORK. If you hate WIRED so much STOP PITCHING THEM.

TCZJFW you pull the aftermarket stereo and realize that the installer split the loom to tap into...the PASM switches???
Finally found my first useful AI project for the RS60. The switch panel for PSM, etc isn’t commonly available. I took the board out to test it and clean it, wired in some temp patches, but it really needs a new board.
It’s funny how much work I’m putting into the interior on this considering I’m gonna to do bupkis on the exterior
RS60 convertible assembly was mega-balled. Had some parts that don't normally break bent 90° like they were just hammering the motor or smashing it back. Idiot mode.
Got it torn apart and parts on order, but what should have been $100 in parts to repair is gonna be like $600.
I don't know why this bugs me but it does. It's not a gas station. Let them smoke.
In Ann Arbor, there is a classic cigar shop called Maison Edwards - it is a beautiful wood paneled store, founded in the 1960s, with a giant American flag hanging over the shelves. It is an incredible third space, where cool dudes of all ages have gathered to converse and talk over a cigar or pipe. I actually owe my closest friendship to time spent in that store on Friday afternoons.
Now, the owner has been forced to disallow smoking in his establishment, erasing the primary reason customers go there. Too many complaints from neighboring businesses - even though no cigar smoke escaped the shop - are going to destroy this magnificent hangout place. Another space where dudes can be dudes, destroyed.
