Ensuing from @IMO_IRL and @HSELive negotiations, as of the new year there's "New rostering rules to ensure safe rostering."
The obvious loophole there is to not roster, just bully NCHDs into working the extra hours.

Chest pain is the perfect example of an appropriate use of the emergency dept. I wouldn't favour the GP over ED in that scenario. Cardiac chest pain is an emergency.

Beds: 🛏️ –600
600 fewer beds for an extra 1.5m people.
So for every 1,000 of us, the no. of beds has DECREASED by 33% from 3.3 to 2.2
