We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence. block.xyz/dessa

Love that CDPR actually hires people from the modding community instead of just praising their work. More studios should do this.

I don't think I'd fully grasped what on the fly personal software might look like until I saw this.
DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017 runs at 1,521+ tok/s on Fireworks Ultrafast. Fast enough to ship Tetris in 11 seconds, 7x faster than Claude Opus 5.5. Join the Ultrafast waitlist: bit.ly/3UA0wKq

I honestly didn't expect @bot to stick. Now I use it more than anything else on my laptop, game changer.

I no longer use coding agents directly. It's all @bot managing cursor cloud agents. Niche now. Mainstream in 2 months.

I know there's of folks installing @Tailscale on @Hetzner_Online etc, but @bot as coordinator, mcp to @replit for app hosting and dev is surprisingly powerful, and very little messing around.

Rio Ngumoha is unplayable. Electric ever time he touches the ball, great to see.
With his delivery for Ronald Araújo, Rio Ngumoha became: -the youngest (18y, 52d) player to assist or score for Liverpool in the Champions League -the third-youngest English player to assist in the Champions League (after Jude Bellingham, Lewis Miley and Theo Walcott)

Starship, Starlink, Grok, and Roadster. These should all have been Sputnik moments for Europe. Triggered immediate deregulation, mobilization of capital, and ambition to catch up. And that's just the work of Elon's companies alone. But what do we get? A hollowed out EU Inc 💀

Europe must wake up now. In an exponential race, if every turn in the wheel turns 30% slower, you don’t even stand a chance, even if you have better talent, better technology, better infrastructure, you lose simply on your inability to compound. Adopt fully or accept game over.
Europe’s founders need a European standard to compete globally from day one. Europe’s leaders committed to delivering one. But their teams are negotiating away the very things that make it one. There is still time to change course if Europe's Heads of State step in now.

Yea basically he is right TLDR: Commission made a usable proposal. Basic idea is to model it like Delaware in the US. The market freely choses where to incorporate and hence what the standard becomes. Plus cleanup important stuff around it (KYC/AML/UBO, stockoptions, etc) Parliament does parliament things - some of the amendments and redlines are just wild. Genuinely don't know if some of them have even met with startups or if they just see themselves as counterforce (like a state defendend in a murder case). Council is officially for it but the teams behind the leadership (think permanent representations, ministries, etc) are finicky about individual aspects. Nobody is against it outright. They just individually just all dont want individual aspects of it. The compromise they discuss is to simply not do the things the proposal is meant to do. Basically if the Prime Ministers dont step in and be like "wtf?" they will lose themselves in complex intricacies of compromises for a result that nobody will use. Classic example. This is why i call Brussels a debate club. Propaganda makes them this evil shadow gov. When in reality it's a permanent debate club where all the countries and not brussels make all the and complexities decisions. hope that helps

Please let's just get EU-inc to the finishline in its full ambition. It will be the first step towards Europe showing to its builders, investors, and citizens that we are back, we want growth, and that we are yet again ambitious. Europe, make it happen 🇪🇺

At this point the whole EU Inc negotiations are so lost in the details that everyone forgot the main goal: Creating a standard. Basically, allow founders to raise quickly globally and use stock options to hire competitively. Let’s say it quite clearly: 1) If EU Inc isn’t providing a standard it’s useless. We already got 30+ legal entities in Europe. Experienced founders use Delaware Inc already because of this. 2) If EU Inc doesn’t fix stock options Delaware Inc is still the better option. I understand the there are complex details and people are worried about loopholes. But you can’t lose the actual goal of it because of it. An EU Inc that doesn't provide a standard is pointless. Nobody will care about intricacies of compromises reached in political committees if the market can't use the outcome. If you are in contact with your political leaders (prime ministers, presidents, et al) please reach out to them. Or to founders/investors in your network who might have that access. 🔥🇪🇺✌️ xitter.cf/euinc_petition/status/…

The gold standard in productivity theater at the moment
“Look at my incredible new factory!” Yo that’s cool, what do you make? “It’s highly optimised, fully automated, zero tolerance for defects and with a continuous feedback cycle” Cool cool, so what do you actually make? “I can interact with it on my phone, laptop, messenger, completely async, and the shared context means it’s always learning how to get better” Very impressive, but what do you make? “Every agent has full context, can spawn other agents, review their work, fix defects, and ship continuously.” yes yes. WHAT DOES IT MAKE? “Software.” Oh nice. What software? “Well right now we’re mostly using it to improve the factory.” Improve it to make what? “Anything!” Such as? “…a better factory.”

Irish Left: We need to tax the wealthy. Me: Maybe we should try that Nordic thing and publish everyone’s income tax. Show who contributes and who doesn’t. That’ll teach the wealthy, right? Irish Left: Now hold on a minute there.
