I saw a clip of bungling Burnham speaking to a TV 'news' crew yesterday. His expression was one of complete and utter bewilderment. He didn't know what he was talking about and had that same dead behind the eyes look as Starmer.

And it’s all unravelling.
Only 3 months into the job, Burnham is already backtracking on Labour’s manifesto red lines.
Just look at his comments today🤦♀️ he’s claiming he wants the UK to rejoin the EU in his “lifetime” and throwing the door open to an “honest discussion” about bringing back EU freedom of movement.
At the exact same time, he’s desperately trying to manage the backlash by insisting he won’t do it without a referendum and promising there’s “no election coming soon”.
If that isn’t the definition of a government tying itself in knots, I don’t know what is.
What a cockwomble!
Instead of focusing on the Budget or delivering on the growth he promised, Burnham has chosen to drag the country straight back into the toxic Brexit debates again!
