When I was a pastor I made a Gospel "deal" with our church. Every week I'd give the Gospel in a clear, compelling way at some point during my sermon. Soon they were bringing new people out weekly because they knew I'd give it. Make the Gospel deal with your church this Sunday!

I wonder if the reason Paul wrote 1 Corinthians 13, and put it in the middle of his conversation about spiritual gifts, is to show us the type of love we share while using our gifts. Simply put, when I am serving, am I loving, kind, patient, etc. with those whom I serve?
