Had a lovely Autumnal walk @johnstowncastle this morning 😃
This pantry at #JohnstownCastle offers a glimpse into Victorian estate life. A vital part of the household, it was used to store food and drink, prepare dishes and organise meals. Young servants, often teenagers, worked long hours behind the scenes while the family dined above.
