I brought a guitar into my office a year or so ago that I noodle with while thinking. I want to believe it's improved my productivity. Certainly good for my stress levels. Now if I could only publish my riffs in PRL...
I love to work movie and music references into my classes; even if the students don't get them it's fun, and if they dig a bit, it's an easter egg. Used this title for a slide introducing Monte Carlo simulation today.
