Many people believe you can only learn or get help from someone you know in person. What they fail to understand is that you can learn the same thing online from a complete stranger. Everyone is different, and life doesn't always work the way we expect. That mindset is what makes people give excuses and procrastinate on what they should be learning and doing.

I still remember the dream that made me look forward to falling asleep. I was a 26-year-old woman who had never touched marijuana, alcohol, or cigarettes. My dreams were usually ordinary, and most mornings, I couldn't remember a single thing about them.

On my first day in a new apartment in Berlin, I decided to introduce myself to the neighbor across the hall. Instead of bringing sweets, I carried a small potted plant. I figured a little greenery was better than bothering someone with food they might not like.

Landlord: “I’ve gotten complaints that you’re running some kind of private clinic out of this apartment. If it continues, I’ll have to terminate your lease.” Tenant: “A clinic? What are you talking about?” Landlord: “People have been coming in and out all day, sometimes looking upset when they leave. I pulled the lobby footage.” Tenant: “I work remotely for a data analytics firm. I don’t see clients. No one comes here for any kind of service.” Landlord: “These stills make it hard to believe that.” He spread several printed photos across the coffee table. They showed different people entering the building during weekday hours—some carrying folders, one with a tote bag, another checking a phone right outside the door. Tenant: “I don’t recognize any of them.” Landlord: “One woman came twice in the same week. Same time both days.” Tenant: “And you decided that means she was here for me?” Landlord: “Your unit is on the third floor. The complaints specifically mention that floor.” Tenant: “There are five apartments on the third floor. Why single me out?” The landlord called the building’s property manager, who arrived thirty minutes later. Property Manager: “What’s the issue?” Landlord: “He’s operating an unauthorized business—looks like some kind of counseling or medical practice. I have photos of the people coming in.” Property Manager: “Have you confirmed which apartment they actually entered?” Landlord: “Not exactly. But the complaints are about the third floor.” Tenant: “So I’m the default suspect?” The manager studied the photographs. Property Manager: “Where did these come from?” Landlord: “Building security cameras at the entrance.” Property Manager: “They only show the lobby. They don’t show anyone going into a specific unit.” Landlord: “It’s still enough to start an investigation.”

The Dark Knight Is the Only Good Movie in Its Trilogy. The Dark Knight stands out as the strongest film in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy. Batman Begins suffers from having to be an origin story, and Christian Bale's Batman is less compelling in that movie. Ra's al Ghul also feels like a weak villain. The Dark Knight Rises has some great action sequences, but Tom Hardy's Bane never quite works, and Talia al Ghul is one of the worst villains in a comic book movie. What makes The Dark Knight stand out is its supporting cast. Rachel, Harvey Dent, and Jim Gordon all have compelling stories, while Heath Ledger delivers an all-time great performance as the Joker, one of the best comic book villains alongside Thanos and Ozymandias. The trilogy reaches its peak with its second movie.

After seven seasons of watching young Sheldon grow and his family sacrifice so much, the finale dropping adult him unchanged just really feels like it cheapened everything.
Annie Potts says that Jim Parsons returning as Sheldon in the ‘YOUNG SHELDON’ finale broke her heart. “I thought the show could have ended [with young Sheldon] and not to the dreaded scene with Jim & Mayim as Sheldon & Amy revealing he was unchanged and unrepentant. That gave me a stomach ache. It was like, ‘Who crashed our party?! Who invited you?'” (via: collider.com/young-sheldon-f…)
