This guy created the definitive online version of Trademarks & Symbols and it is there, free. A graphic hero.
This book is basically a cheat code for logo design, so I turned the whole book into a site so yall designers and devs can grab every mark as svg. 1,504 marks and counting

We started "Distance" back in 2020. More than 900 hand-painted frames and a long list of talented collaborators later, it's finally done.
Written by Nate DiMeo and originally published in The Memory Palace, it tells the story of Samuel Finley Breese Morse: his years as a painter, his personal story, and the path that led him to help shape one of the most important inventions in modern communication.
It had its night on the big screen in in September where it won "Best Canadian Short" at the Spark Animation 2026 festival. And now its on FrameRate: framerate.tv/watch/Bu171cGC
This is beautiful 😍 So too, the quoted Zelda one. Love it!

BOMBSHELL: Motaz Azaiza admits he filmed Israeli hostages being beaten in the streets of Gaza on October 7, and deliberately never published it, to protect the identities of the people beating them.
He did post other October 7 footage that day, celebrating the attack. He quietly deleted it later.
Azaiza is an influential "photojournalist" from Ghazza. TIME named him to the TIME 100. He was nominated for the 2024 Nobel Peace Prize. CNN, the Guardian and Sky all interviewed him.
Ms. Rachel Griffin-Accurso, who has 16 million subscribers, made a video for preschoolers introducing "my friend Motaz." She deleted it later.
Two weeks ago, he did a 3 hour and 38 minute interview in Arabic.
He made a number of EXTRAORDINARY admissions.

The core message of Hannukah is not Hallmark card pablum about light in the midst of darkness.
It is about Jewish warriors victoriously fighting their anti-Jewish persecutors, defending the faith and Jewish sovereignty over Israel, Jerusalem and the Temple.

What actually happened after the 1947 UN partition vote is nothing like the story told in activist circles today.

Daniel Peretz was a Gen-Zionist hero.
Daniel was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. After his bar mitzvah, his family realized the millennia-old dream of returning to Israel. Five years later, like most Israeli boys fresh out of high school, he enlisted in the IDF.
But Daniel had a problem: an injury from water skiing, which barred him from combat service. He could have taken the out and settled for a desk job (no shame in that). But he refused to take “no” for an answer and fought the army bureaucracy to let him serve in the Armored Corps. After surgery and nine months of physical therapy and recovery, he won his first battle.
Daniel graduated with honors from a tank commanders course, and then again from Officers’ School.
On October 7, 2023, Daniel was stationed at Nahal Oz. When Hamas’ terrorist army invaded, hunting for innocent people to mutilate and kidnap, 22-year-old Daniel was the first line of defense. He and his comrades fought heroically, but the barbarian horde was too numerous.
They were four young men in the tank. His comrade Tomer Leibovitz fell in battle. Matan Angrest was abducted, tortured in captivity, and released only yesterday after two years in Hamas’ tunnels. Itay Chen was killed and his body snatched into Gaza, where it is still trapped. And Daniel was injured and abducted into the Gaza Strip, perhaps already dead. For 163 days, his family knew nothing about his fate until the IDF pronounced him a fallen soldier.
Last night, after holding onto his body for a ransom for two years, the Hamas terrorist army finally released his remains for burial.
Every young Jewish boy in the world should know the name Daniel Peretz. Jewish schools should name awards for excellence in his honor. Because Daniel refused to take the easy way out. He didn’t put himself first. He put himself out front and fought valiantly to defend innocents from slaughter. If his native South Africa were not waging legal warfare in defense of the people who killed him, it too would honor one of its most courageous sons.
Rest in peace, young hero. A global generation of young Jews, forged by the fire of October 7, will salute you as a modern Maccabee of our biblical times.

Every lens leaves a blur signature—a hidden fingerprint in every photo.
In our new #TPAMI paper, we show how to learn it fast (5 mins of capture!) with Lens Blur Fields ✨
With it, we can tell apart ‘identical’ phones by their optics, deblur images, and render realistic blurs.
