WGAW members, if you haven’t voted yet for the Board, today is the last day. Closes at noon PST. And I highly endorse @JackiePenn18 and @msjoellegarf for the board. We desperately need lower and mid level representation on the board.

Joelle on her own started the green envelope grocery aid mutual fund to help anyone in the industry struggling during the strikes. And she still continues it during this time. That initiative and drive alone deserves a vote on the board. She genuinely cares about helping writers.

For @WGAWest board elections, I strongly endorse @JackiePenn18 and @msjoellegarf — the lack of care for LL and mid-level writers will not be fixed until we have folks whose platform CENTERS on this issue, and there are no candidates finer. Please add them to your ballots!
3/ @JackiePenn18 shows a commitment to WGA education, diversity, and a focus on rebuilding the pipeline for LL writers that has been throughly eroded. She’s tough, smart as hell, and is a much needed new voice on the board.

While I love our WGA leadership, I implore everyone to PLEASE read the candidates' statements and not just blindly vote for who leadership tells us to vote for. Low and mid-level writers NEED voices on the board. @JackiePenn18 & @msjoellegarf have two of my votes for sure.
