NEW: Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule says his daughter was accosted after the Washington loss:
"A guy walked up to my 13-year-old daughter and was like, 'F-U and F your dad.' I'm not going to keep coaching if it means my kids grow up screwed up. I'm not going to see my daughter shook... . I'm not coaching for the guy that attacked my daughter, I'm coaching for the people in the boat."
He added: "I said to my daughter, 'If daddyโs gotta retire, if I have retire because I donโt want you guys growing up in that environment...'"

From what Iโve seen. Youโre one of a million coaches saying the samethingโฆ. I bet their phones would never stop ringing. Not giving them an excuse but it has to be done on both ends bc you probably have a stud or 2 there that can help a program.
This โPodcastโ era got former athletes telling stories theyโre NOT suppose to be telling and even name dropping too ๐๐ wild times
What ppl wonโt see or mention is the teammates telling him to stop and look at coach. Take the consequences of your actions and move on but donโt walk away when you know that heat coming your way. It happens.
Donโt count other people pockets and blessings or youโll miss your own
Parents and athletes, the recruiting process requires PATIENCE.
Everybodyโs journey is different. Donโt get discouraged because someone else is receiving offers, visits, or attention before you.
When itโs your time, it will come.
Until then, athletes: KEEP WORKING. Keep developing. Keep your grades right. Keep putting good film together. Stay consistent and stay ready.
You canโt control when the opportunity comes, but you CAN control whether youโre prepared when it does.
Trust the process. Keep working. Your time is coming. ๐ฏ๐

Had a bye week from replay so was able to get out and see the young fella play. Even got out pregame handshake we started his freshman year in high school ๐ฅน๐ฅนEarned the starting job this season and has been putting in the work to keep it. Got the win 14-3 and really proud of him
