Look at all the teams with number 1 goalies and number 1 dmen and wonder how they stay competitive. Those 2 factors we’ve never had and no matter how much more offensive talent we’ve had it’s never counteracted those 2 variables.

How is Boston doing what they are doing without the irreplaceable Auston Matthews, William Nylander, John Tavares and 1oa Gavin Mckenna? Not to mention coveted UFA Darren Raddysh and must have 38 yo Sergi Bobrovsky. Why do we do less with more while others do more with less?

Leafs looked like a team missing 2 of their top 6 forwards tonight. Bob was amazing, only reason the leafs had a chance. If Nylander worked as hard as any of the other 11 forwards we might have won. Refs game managed penalties and Mammoth took advantage. Forget it and move on.
