Quick summary: school RE teachers and university TRS departments need each other, they can work together with mutual respect for mutual benefit, and we have lots of examples (thanks to @kairosbutterfly @reonline_tweets) to show what that could look like.

We could get angry at Suella’s latest piece of performative, pandering cruelty or… instead:
let’s promote the excellent work done by @Shelter, @centrepointuk, @PassageCharity and other fine charities actually trying to help homeless people, especially now, as winter approaches.

Recently, Ridley Scott, when asked about historical inaccuracies in his films said:
"How do you know, where you there? Napoleon had 400 books written about him. Maybe the first was the most accurate... there is a lot of speculation."

Al-Khazneh ("The Treasury") one of most elaborate temples in Petra, a city of Nabatean Kingdom inhabited by Arabs in ancient times. As with most of other buildings in this ancient town, including Monastery (Ad Deir), this structure was carved out of a sandstone rock face.
Structure is believed to have been mausoleum of Nabatean King Aretas IV in 1st century AD. It is one of most popular tourist attractions in both Jordan and region. It became known as "Al-Khazneh", or The Treasury, in early 19th century by area's Bedouins as they had believed it contained treasures.
Treasury has appeared in many Hollywood films, gaining particular fame after being featured in climactic scenes in 1989 film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, in which its facade is represented as entrance to the final resting place of the Holy Grail.

TEACHERS
According to @artfund pupils from less privileged backgrounds are much less likely to visit museums.
I first went to our museum on a school trip.
Teachers have the power to open the cabinet of wonders so ...
I'll buy #TeacherArtPasses. for 2 teachers who RT this.
