The latest fad seems to be posting whatever picture Grok makes based on this prompt: "Create an image of what the world would look like if I were in charge (based on my tweets)" Sure, I'll participate. Here's mine:

This seems to be the latest thing.... Born: 🇺🇸 Raised: 🇺🇸 Live in: 🇺🇸 Father: 🇺🇸 Mother: 🇺🇸 First Name: 🇮🇱 Middle Name: 🇬🇷 Last Name: 🇬🇧 Speak: 🇺🇸/🇬🇧 Visited: 🇬🇧🇨🇦🇲🇽 Want to Visit: 🌎🌍🌏

I now live near the cemetery where my father-in-law Dennis Hope is laid to rest. It seemed a good day to visit his remains with my family and remember him.

So.. the other day I mentioned learning of a "Super Typhoon" in the Pacific that was going to hit american territory, and metioned that I thought it would probably be ignored. Today I went looking to see if I could find any news reports about the aftermath, and all I could find was this 1 local paper from Guam reporting on it, and it's focus was more on how *the entire power grid going down* affected 1,800 tourists rather than the ~170,000 residents of the island. Kinda sad, IMO. pacificislandtimes.com/post/…

I just learned of this super typhoon in the Pacific a few minutes ago. Guam and the Northern Marianas are American territories, but they're small so often ignored. I wonder how much we'll hear about them now or if they'll still be ignored?

Shower thought for the day?

It has arrived! @monsterhunter45

So it seems there's this engagement game going around asking folks to post "old fashioned" women's names. For grins, I pulled up my family tree and took it as far back as I could go and... holy cow, we have records as far back as 200 BC in the Roman Empire? Really? Wow. Oh I see... Those are some of the emperors. No wonder we have their records. I had no idea either. Anyway, here's a list of some of the "unusual" ones from that line: Blanche, Myrtle, Dorcas, Venita, Mehitable, Margary, Agnes, Celda, Felenia, Iona, Adia, Edlomone, Salomane, Cecily, Tryal, Tamasine, Hester, Verena, Lettice, Thomasine, Millisent, Amice, Rohese, Joyouse, Sybil, Albreda, Adeline, Adeliza, Azeline, Bertha, Satselina, Esposa, Rohesia, Adelicia, Colede, Alienor, Aremgarde, Oda, Gersende, Gerberge, Wisola, Faquilene, Aurea, Dadildis, Sancha, Guldreguth, Waltrude, Irmine, Doda, Sichilde, Fredegunde, Sprote, Hersande, Vetulus, Amanthia, Chlotilde, Pulchra, Arnegunde, Crotechilde, Basina, Caratine, Chlodeswinthe, Alypia, Blesinde, Hatilde, Hodesh, Hastilla, Athildis, Ildigonde, Turrenia, Aemilia, Iunii, Eurgen, Caesonia, Ermentrude, Amfleda, Rasenna, Clidoria, Chateloys, Athilidis, Ystradwl, Penardun, Genuissa, Verica, Gwenillian, Rytherch, Arthafel, Seysyllt, Lleuver, Vipsania, Alfidia, Thurina, Ancaria, Licinia, Fulvia, and Sempronia. My computer setup has a new chair, and I "get to" tweet about it on order to extend the warranty. It's much more comfortable than the chair it's replacing, so that's good! #Secretlab

How interesting. This study seems to indicate that the "pandemic" has already spread well past "social distancing" containment, but that it's so mild that nobody actually knew.

My 1st tweet in quite a long time -- FFXIV leveling journey is complete again. Until the next expansion, anyway... bit.ly/2UJwPn4 #FFXIV
