Hey @msnbc @maddow @chrislhayes @JoyAnnReid: Many, many ad breaks end with a spot from @MyPillowUSA, whose CEO continues to lie about election and give dangerous advice to POTUS. Please stop accepting ads from them. (I'm a regular viewer & former employee of NBC News Digital.)

Twitter has banned his account. @msnbc Will you pull his company's ads? Do you need another recent example of someone who leveraged a lot of TV exposure to create a platform to harm our democracy? nytimes.com/2021/01/26/busin…

If you incited people to try to overthrow the government, you don't get to be in Congress. Sorry, that's just how it works.

China has arrested most activists for democracy in Hong Kong. Pretty good week for Putin to roll into Estonia. Or maybe the continuing incursion into US gov systems is enough?

If you don't impeach and remove a President for staging a coup, what's the point of impeachment.

Hey @davidcicilline @SenJackReed @SenWhitehouse @JimLangevin Relieved you are all safe. Now: 1. Certify the electoral college count. 2. Pass articles of impeachment against the president for inciting sedition. 3. Censure reps/sens who objected to electoral college count.

3 (updated). "Expel" instead of "Censure". 4. Remove the president after articles of impeachment.
This is a coup d’etat attempted by the President of the United States.

The House should immediately pass new articles of impeachment against the President by the end of today for inciting insurrection against the United States Congress.

Regardless of results of the Senate races, a big thank you to Election workers in Georgia. They worked hard to execute 2 elections -in November and January- with huge national consequences. They’ve been scrutinized, threatened and attacked. They still show-up and do their job.🇺🇸

Good take. 👍 Having more tools is a good thing. Figuring out the most appropriate one to use in a given scenario is not always easy. Instead of "WTF?" let's ask "How did it go?" and "What did you learn?"

Very proud of myself for always restricting where test environments can send email. (Yes, I have an old scar.) Not so great when I forget those restrictions when the first non team member uses it, and they can't get past step 1 because there's no email. 🤦‍♂️
A few days ago I was trying to remember the name of an 80s comedy news show that defined made-up words. Like "subatomic toasticles" - bits of toast that get stuck in the butter. Just now, out of nowhere, my mind says: Not Necessarily the News. And the words were Sniglets.

That was a work-related tweet... I often enlist my subconscious to help solve software design problems. I think about the problem, then sleep on it or let it percolate for a few days. Ideas for solutions often appear unexpectedly at random moments.
