I started learning how to code on my own after high school. At first it was strange but thanks to W3School and @freeCodeCamp , these platforms simplified it.
Today, I can confidently build both the frontend and backend of my application.
Growth is real 📈

Great point. A quick way to settle it: ask what a visitor must be able to do (read, contact, pay, log in). Anything beyond the first two is usually a different project and budget.
When a client says "I need a website," clarify this first "website".
It could mean a 5-page brochure site or a full app with logins, payments, and dashboards. Totally different budgets, timelines, and risks.
Clarify early, avoid issues later.

Most seniors still ship like it’s 2019.
Write the feature. Manually test. Ship.
Juniors are already using AI to generate the tests, edge cases, and half the code before the first commit.
The gap isn’t talent. It’s workflow.
Not every decision I made was the best one, and I’d rather show you what I learned than pretend I got everything right.
If you’re planning a business website this year, follow along.
Also comment that thing that confuses you most about hiring a developer
I’ll answer as many.
Sometimes you a break from what you're doing to come back strong at it.
There are moments when you just need to pause, plan more, get clearer vision on where you're headed.
I feel like I'm in that state right now stepping back to get clarity on the right next step.

A fast application isn't always a well-built application.
If your app is fast but insecure, unreliable, and impossible to maintain, you've only solved one part of the problem.
Good engineering is about trade-offs, not just speed.

How do you process millions of background jobs without overwhelming your database, running out of memory, or bringing your application to its knees?
Adding a queue is the easy part.
Designing a system that keeps processing reliably under heavy load is where the real engineering begins.

Today, I didn't wake up on the good side of the bed.
Is it a crime for other candidates contesting in the 2027 elections not to have their posters on the roads?
Why am I moving around Lagos and seeing Tinubu's posters and billboards almost everywhere, while other candidates are barely visible?
One thing I learned today - simplicity matters a lot!
With so many features in the app, it took me a couple of minutes just to demonstrate the working component.
The project examiners were not impressed by the complexity; rather, they wanted proof that the theory was applied.
Having spent the whole of the night working on my project, I have a prototype to show for my defense today.
Wish me well
The agentic part of this applications is yet to be completed and my defense is in few hours.
I'm just being forced to implement the agent part to tonight.
There are times you never will depend on someone. This is driving me to the AI agent world and it's definitely a win.

How I became a dancing meme, I still don't understand. 😭😂
Now my video is on everybody's phone, and people are using it to celebrate their wins. How did we get here? 😭

Backend Engineering Beyond CRUD
Two patterns you should understand if you’re serious about building reliable distributed systems:
Saga Pattern
Retry & Exponential Backoff
Let’s look at how they work, when to use them, and the problems they solve. 👇
