We’ve all heard it before: "time heals all wounds." But does it really? Or is healing something we have to actively work toward? Psychology tells us that time alone isn’t enough. Instead, it’s what we do with that time that truly matters. #literature #psychology #mentalhealth

To reread at least monthly: “I don’t know” is not an admission of ignorance. It’s an expression of intellectual humility. “I was wrong” is not a confession of failure. It’s a display of intellectual integrity. “I don’t understand” is not a sign of stupidity. It’s a catalyst for intellectual curiosity. Thanks @AdamMGrant 🙏
You don’t have to stay in your lane. You do need to check your blind spots before changing lanes. What gets people in trouble isn't tackling unfamiliar topics. It's being ignorant of their own ignorance. A mark of wisdom is entering new terrain with an extra dose of humility.

Racism is sure still present in #SportPsych "recommend asking a native speaker to edit the paper grammatically" Reviewer comments 👏🏻👏🏻 Well done 👍🏻 Just because the paper has a sample from a non UK and US sample, doesn't mean you have a license to engage in micraggresions

Remember when we said that evidence on the positive effect of exercise on cognition is inconclusive? Well, some people weren’t too happy about that. They came to us with some critiques, so we decided to roll up our sleeves and dive deeper. Spoiler: our conclusions still stand
