BREAKING 🚨 Bipartisan anti-war champions @RoKhanna & @RepThomasMassie will force a Yemen War Powers vote to prevent renewed US direct bombing and to stop US targeting assistance for Saudi regime bombing of Yemen
The US must demand a diplomatic end to Saudi-Yemen conflict!🕊️
Congress never authorized Trump to wage war to defend the Saudi regime
I introduced a Yemen War Powers Resolution (H.Con.Res.124) with @RepThomasMassie to mandate that the US stay out of war in Yemen
Trump must honor the US-Yemen ceasefire and use diplomacy, not war

When Rubio led GOP on the Senate Intel Committee in 2021, he was among the first US officials to announce "spontaneous" protests "breaking out" in Cuba
Now Rubio sounds desperate — openly recruiting CIA collaborators would actually harm any ostensible pro-democracy movement
🆕 Historic US Senate letter on Pakistan's human rights crisis
ONE-CLICK — ASK YOUR SENATOR TO SIGN:

tinyurl.com/SenateLetterFree…
The letter demands:
-freedom for Imran Khan
-sanctions on Asim Munir
-no military aid without democracy
📢As a Massachusetts constituent, I'm grateful and proud that my senator, @SenMarkey, is leading a Senate letter telling Sec. Rubio: ENOUGH.
The letter calls for the release of Imran Khan and other political prisoners, targeted sanctions against officials responsible for serious human rights abuses, and human rights conditions on U.S. military assistance to Pakistan. It also raises concerns about transnational repression targeting Pakistani Americans and their families.
This is not about interfering in Pakistan's internal affairs. It is about ensuring that U.S. policy does not enable repression, undermine democratic institutions, or provide unconditional support to those responsible for human rights violations.
The future of Pakistan belongs to its people, not to Washington or its military establishment.
Please take 30 seconds to sign @justfp's letter and urge your U.S. senators to join Senator Markey in standing for human rights, democratic freedoms, and accountability. Ask your senator to sign 👇

🇵🇰 EXCLUSIVE: IMRAN KHAN'S SONS SAY THE PAKISTANI GOVERNMENT IS TRYING TO KILL THEIR FATHER!
I spoke again with Qasim and Sulaiman Khan, and this conversation was the most heartbreaking.
Not only is their father, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, still in solitary confinement, but his three courageous sisters, Aleema, Uzma and Noreen, have now also been arrested
And when @PTIofficial supporters hit the streets, many were arrested, beaten, and even killed!
Imran Khan’s sons say they haven't spoken to their father in over 6 months, nobody has seen him for 2 months, and they're increasingly worried about his deteriorating health.
I asked them the hardest question of all: Do they still believe they’ll ever see their father again?
Qasim admitted, he has very little hope, but they will never stop fighting
I told them both I wouldn't give up hope.
And I meant it.

"MBS is not the victim here. He's the aggressor. The victims of all of this will include the people of Yemen, who must attempt to live through the overlapping wars that foreign powers have brought to their doorsteps"

"Lowering prices requires common sense measures at home and de-escalation abroad."
"Diplomacy is also possible. In 2023, Saudi Arabia and Ansar Allah agreed to create a roadmap towards a ceasefire, but it was never formalised."

Britain is sending fighter jets to support Saudi Arabia's war on Yemen, in a move that will only further escalate conflict in the region.
The British public should not have to foot the bill for this brutal war, argues Kevin Cashman for @LBC 👇

US must END all support for any party in the Saudi-Yemen war and push for a peace deal
Currently, when Saudi regime or its allies commit war crimes, US is complicit due to its role in enabling Saudi bombing
Congress NEVER authorized @DeptofWar to join Saudi attacks in Yemen!

“Amazing what we did”
✅ 21+ American service members killed and hundreds wounded
✅ Thousands of innocent Iranians murdered and 1M+ displaced in Lebanon
✅ Instability across the Middle East and the world
✅ Depleted US military stockpiles
✅ Record high U.S. gas prices

🇧🇷 NEW: 13 Members of Congress led by @RepJayapal and @SenSanders sent a letter to Mark Zuckerberg today demanding answers on Meta's alleged election bias in Brazil.
Saudi officials visited Yemen in 2023 to negotiate peace with the de facto authorities that survived a brutal US-Saudi war & blockade
But the deal was never finalized
Now, with Sanaa's military far stronger than before, a deal remains the best path for all parties & civilians
A renewed truce/possible peace deal in #Yemen would be a huge development, but there cannot be true peace until the harms done to civilians in this conflict are addressed. #Accountability is a necessity, not a barrier, to sustainable peace.

He's right — nobody thinks Prince Bonesaw cares about Palestinians
But the rotten Saudi regime needs to box out Iran and appease the Saudi public by taking control over a Palestinian "state":
MBS "will come in and... create an enclave in the Palestine"
Q: We have heard countries like Saudi Arabia making the establishment of a Palestinian state a condition.
Netanyahu: Guys, if you believe that nonsense... Yes, publicly they say that. I don't want to tell you what I'm hearing.
In the Arab world, they care about the Palestinians about as much as you do.

Our demand for @hakeemjeffries is super clear.
If the Iran war is illegal and needs to be ended, block the funding to it.
Voting on war powers resolutions is not enough — no more money —be it supplamental or NDAA.

Aren't the Saudis the least bit embarrassed that they had to recruit half the world to attack Yemen, failed, and now have to recruit half the world to defend themselves from Yemen?
🇺🇸 US policymakers must listen to Ukrainians 🇺🇦
Most Ukrainians:
— Support negotiations to end hostilities
— Are open to territorial concessions for peace
— Expect Ukraine's situation to get worse, not better
((Oct. 3–5 survey by NATO/Kyiv-aligned pollster Rating Group)
Thank you, Mr. @POTUS for being the real leader and pursuing the road of peace for Ukrainians.
Attritional war has favored Russia for historical reasons that do not vanish because we dislike them. Its army can lose battles. The capacity of Russian society to endure exhaustion has repeatedly conferred an advantage on Russian governments, including the present one. Right now, Russia has stockpiled up to 700 ballistic missiles, thousands of cruise missiles and over 6,200 Geran drones, according to Ukrainian intelligence. Production is exceeding plans by 110–120%. Russia is capable of spending lives and material for as long as it judges the political object worth the spending, and it remains prepared to do so. Ukraine does not have the same depth. Pretending otherwise is not solidarity, but a way of expending someone else’s remaining years.

Thousands of Yemenis have been unable to receive medical care due to the Saudi blockade on Yemen's main airport, Sanaa International, for much of the last decade — now Aden airport is also in danger
A diplomatic deal to fully opens all airports in Yemen is the only solution
#Houthis continue to target airpots, today attacking #Aden airpot despite continued flights. The attacks not only endanger civilians present at the airport, but also can have severe impacts for those relying on the airport to access medical care.

Clip from your own testimony supporting military action in Yemen:
"Military pressure from US partners may be necessary to defend against Houthi attacks and create leverage for negotiations"
How many Yemenis should US help kill to "create leverage" for Bonesaw and his cronies?
