Had a great time at the Trick or Trot put on by Combat Racing this evening! Being two weeks out from the Yeti 100, I can’t quite say the wheels are back yet.. but it was a lot of fun kicking it up with Ary Rochon!

Registration for ALL of the 2027 Skunk Ape Trail Races are now OPEN! The 2027 Skunk Ape Trail Series is on! If you complete all four trail races, you’ll take home the Trail Series jackets! And yes! If you volunteer to be a course sweeper, that also counts as part of the series.
Coming off of the Yeti 100 last week, I was able to get in 11 miles total. Three 3 mile runs and two 1 mile walks. All in all, the legs felt better as the days progressed. This week I’m just jumping 4-5 miles a day, we’ll see how the legs turn over.
Just another 3 miles for the morning run, legs seem to be coming back to life. Seems like I can jump back into regular running again next week.
It was another great Run Club Wednesday last night at the Dade City Brew House here in Dade City! Nice to see everyone again for brews and miles on the Hardy Trail.
It took 6 years and 8 DNF’s.. but I finally broke the streak and finished the Yeti 100 Mile! I had a great time. A huge thank you to my parents, Joe Miller, and Jon Reid. Always great to see the other Floridians out there, Jason Green, and the whole Yeti gang.
I forgot to post, but I did finish H9! Finally ended the two year DNF streak to bringing me to 3-2 on the course! This was the hardest year yet with multiple falls destroying my game plan. I learned how low I can feel physically, emotionally, and mentally but still push on!
It’s almost that time! Tomorrow morning, we’ll be heading back out on the trail to take on the H9 Dragon. This will be my fifth year taking one of my absolute favorite races. So far, I’m sitting at two finishes and two DNFs.
