Dear Oakley, I came to visit today. The usual place I get your flowers wasn't open so had to bring you different ones. I hope you like them. I also brought you two mini pumpkins and a decoration. It rained the entire time but it was important to visit you 鉂わ笍

Has anyone played #PlanetZoo2 on the PlayStation yet? My laptop definitely won't run it so am considering getting it on PlayStation but unsure how easy the controls are. I lived the regular #PlanetZoo on PC but have never played t on console 馃 @PlanetZooGame

This week marks the start of Baby Loss Awareness Week 2026. It is a time to honour the lives of all babies who have sadly died, at any stage of their pregnancy or life. We acknowledge that many families across the country tell us that they do not have suitable support or resources they need at the time of their bereavement. This week we join the very many charities, organisations and families across the country in raising awareness. Brighton Pier, Nottingham City Council House, Nottingham Cathedral of St Barnabas, Chichester City Council House and the Holy Cross, and St Ia Church in St Ives are illuminating their buildings in pink and blue to show solidarity with families across the country. Throughout the week, the Review Team will take part in activities to remember all bereaved families. Today, our team will release flowers along Chichester canal as part of our annual river walk. The Review Team recognises the lifelong harm and consequences that bereavement can bring, so if you feel that you need additional support at this time please make contact with the psychological support team made available to all families and family members included within the Review.

It's the start of #BabyLossAwarenessWeek and to other parents who have had their baby die I want you know that you're not alone even though it feels like it. Please take care of yourself this week and feel free to talk to about your precious babies 鉂わ笍 Oakley 13.07.22

Friday marks the start of #BabyLossAwarenessWeek which ends on the 15th October. This week is important to allow people to talk about a very taboo subject - the death of a baby. For some parents this might be the only time they don't feel so alone 馃挃 My Oakley 13.07.22 鉂わ笍鉂わ笍

As schools start going back all I can think of is how this would be Oakley's last year at nursery! As a summer born baby who'd have just turned 4 if he was still here he wouldn't start school until next year. Once again another milestone I'm missing 馃挃

When Oakley died I had a c-section under general anaesthetic because this was considered the safest option. I lost a lot of blood and almost died. And yet the doctors were discussing inducing me and making me go through labour knowing that I'd bleed out if I did ....

Summer holidays. This should be when Oakley is home from nursery and we're doing all sorts of fun things. A picnic in the park, a bug hunt, paddling in the sea, visiting his big cousin, maybe eating a bit too much ice cream! But he will never get to do these things 馃挃

Dear Oakley. Your birthday was a few weeks ago. I didn't miss it don't worry. I came to visit you and we had a cake. But I wish you'd been here for it. You'd be 4 years old now and I can't help but wonder what you'd be into or what you'd look like. I love you 鉂わ笍

Dear Oakley. Today is your 4th birthday. I wish you were here to enjoy it! I visited your resting place this morning bringing along some flowers and we're about to have your cake. I miss you so much and love you more than you'll ever know. Happy birthday my love 鉂わ笍

Dear Oakley. Your birthday is coming up soon and as usual I'm stressing about it being "perfect". But I'm trying to remember that the only thing I need to do to make it perfect is to remember you 鉂わ笍

Look I don't like football. I don't understand the game. It bores me. However, I'm very much enjoying seeing the clips online of all the fans enjoying themselves, and the Americans a little bemused but enjoying the vibes! #football #worldcup

Dear Oakley. These are my first and last photos with you. I have many more from all the time we did get to spend together but none of these should exist because you should have been born alive and you should still be here today. I love you so much 鉂わ笍

Dear Oakley, the weather has suddenly turned warm and sunny. You and I should be at the park, seeing the new baby cygnet (only 1 this year!) and ducklings. I should be getting you icecream from a van. We should be paddling in the sea. I'm sorry you're not here to enjoy the things

The UK are used to getting low points in #eurovision but I wonder if we'd take it more seriously and actually try harder if we didn't automatically go through to the finals each year? 馃 It's a competition and we should actually COMPETE, not be an automatic entry!

A @DOckendenLtd led review of maternity care at UHSussex is what Abigail & all the other TFOB babies deserve. They have had their lives taken from them by failings in care that would have gone unnoticed were it not for us insisting attention was paid.
