This should not be happening in a Democracy.
No one should be handcuffed, taken without charges, and without a destination in the way that this happened.
If it can happen to the @NYCComptroller who is running for Mayor it can happen to anyone, and it has been!
I'm proud to endorse @ChrisMarteNYC for re-election. He's been a champion fighting for affordable housing, community-led planning, and stood up to the real estate industry and the Mayor. We need to keep him in the Council to continue the fight for the soul of our city!

We haven't has a Speaker from the East Side since Gifford Miller and she will be a strong counter balance to the Mayor, no matter who it is.

When I endorsed in District 4 the non-participating opponent's campaign came out slinging mud and insults.

We worked together to win multiple rent freezes for 1 million+ rent regulated tenants and pass a law to create housingconnect.nyc.gov
He's fought for us in Albany, now we need him in the Council!

In my office, he helped pass full public matching, negotiated the law to regulate short term rentals, and helped support services for homeless in the neighborhood.
The part of the UES where I lived has been redistricted. I'll be voting for him!
