Good potential with @freedznft Many good collectors sweeping 144 eth volume in only one week which is good A very good burn mechanism : 50% of royalties (corresponds to 4% fees) is sent to a common pot. The first one to burn a NFT takes the pot. > 400 NFTs have already been burn = 5% of the total supply. Big in 1 week And the team will add a leaderboard of burning, with reward distributed : they already swept Argonaut, Normies, Jpeg Frens for this Art is cool. The central element is a word in red Then you have 5 factions. The least rare is human, the rarest is Celestials, only 180 NFTs in this faction Many traits are dope like masks, hoodies 3 main rare traits attracted my collector eye : 1/ Celestials, which is the rarest faction, with only 180 NFTs (there were 183 before but 3 have been burned before reveal) 2/ redacted bar : a red bar which cross the NFT, only 80 in the collection and it is a special trait on OpenSea 3/ Unique traits : each faction have a sub faction with unique traits. They are very rare (Rogue for human, warden for adapted, Oath for seeker, Guardian for enforcer) Something is happening in this collection, curious to see what will happen in coming days/weeks
THE FREEDZ BURN CONTESTS BEGIN MONDAY 428 already burned. The win-win-win burn mechanism: 1. The community wins: Supply goes down with every burn. 2. The burner wins: They earn revenue for contributing to the burn mechanism. 3. Sellers win: Burners can use their earnings to buy another FREEDZ from the floor, creating additional buying pressure. The Burn Leaderboard tracks the top burners across all time, monthly, weekly and daily rankings. And starting Monday, the FREEDZ Burn Contests will bring rewards for the top burners. Full contest details will be revealed on Monday. Burn to Claim: freedznft.com/burn Burn Leaderboard: freedznft.com/BurnLeaderboar… The system demands sacrifice. 🟥

well, to double down on my own theory, I finally bought a Deed last night with a resource I’ve been chasing for months. yep, it’s a Luster T4 with the #2 resource, Fragmentia. i might have had some doubts about buying a nearly empty Deed before, but now this feels like one of the smartest purchases in @OthersideMeta I could have made. that said, I do have some concerns. if planting resources turns out to be too easy or too common, it could dilute the value of rare resources. so if this mechanic does become a thing, i think it will probably come with some restrictions: a low seed drop rate, long growing times, and possibly requirements tied to land tier, sediment, or player level. overall, i don’t think this theory is far-fetched at all. it aligns pretty well with both the team’s official statements and the economic mechanics they’ve already shown us.
an idea I wanted to share. @imjameshall and @mfigge have mentioned several times that they have plans for Deeds without resources and that these Deeds aren’t just sitting there for no reason. so here’s my theory. it’s pretty simple, but I think we’ll be able to plant seeds of different resources on empty deeds. where would we get these seeds? maybe they’ll have a small chance of dropping while gathering resources. Perhaps Kodas will have a higher drop rate. and obviously, it could take some time for a seed to grow into a full resource. but honestly, this makes a lot of sense to me. we also know that resources in @OthersideMeta are finite and will regenerate over time. i think that detail adds even more weight to the seed theory.

Some are HUMAN, some have ADAPTED, some are SEEKER, some are ENFORCER and a few are CELESTIAL. Five factions. Five different identities. One world built around the question of freedom and control. Perhaps, there's more beneath the surface than we can see. The story is still unfolding. FREEDZ🟥
We've had so many new people joining the FREEDZ lately. For those who are new here, we wanted to share our 'Introducing FREEDZ' thread again. A good place to start if you want to learn more about the collection, the ideas behind it, and what we're building together. Welcome to FREEDZ. 🟥

Most NFT projects want you to hold. FREEDZ makes you choose: keep the art, or burn your NFT to claim $ETH collected from secondary sales. I dug into its typography, factions, the burn mechanism and its first week after mint. The interesting part isn't just shrinking supply. At first glance, FREEDZ looks like another 8,888-piece NFT collection on Ethereum. But behind the PFPs is a question: What if the words we use to express freedom are also helping build the systems that control us? Here's the simplest way I can explain it. THE ART During the whitelist, thousands of people submitted words that became part of the collection itself. Characters built from typography rather than traditional illustrations. Five factions explore different relationships with freedom and control: Human. Adapted. Seeker. Enforcer. Celestial. Some obey the system. Others resist it. Others maintain it. Wordmap connects over 10,000 submitted words, while each NFT also has an animated version. But the economics introduce another layer. BURN TO CLAIM FREEDZ rewards holders for permanently destroying their NFTs. Secondary sales paying royalties ↓ 4% goes to a Community Vault ↓ $ETH accumulates ↓ A holder burns a FREEDZ ↓ Claims the available vault balance ↓ NFT supply decreases permanently This isn't staking. You're exchanging your NFT for the accumulated reward. Keep the art and its potential future value, or destroy it for the $ETH available today. You cannot do both. THE ECONOMIC LOOP The team describes this as a potential win-win-win. The community gets reduced supply. The burner receives $ETH. And sellers could benefit if burners reinvest those rewards into another FREEDZ. Trading → Royalties → Burn → $ETH reward → Potential repurchase → More trading. That final step isn't guaranteed, but it's what could turn the burn mechanism into additional market demand. THE FIRST WEEK FREEDZ sold out, with 373 NFTs reportedly burned in seven days. Approximately 4.2% of the original supply. Beyond the marketplace, the team introduced: Wordmap, connecting community-submitted words. The Bunker, offering animated NFTs. FREEDZ Tales, transforming words into illustrated stories. A community vault acquiring other NFT collections, plus an upcoming burn competition. Different initiatives designed to build participation beyond floor-price speculation. BUT DEFLATION DOESN'T GUARANTEE VALUE. The mechanism depends on trading activity and royalties reaching the vault. Less volume → Less $ETH → Smaller burn incentives. Burners can keep their rewards instead of reinvesting. And supply can shrink while demand falls. That's the risk. MY READ What interests me isn't simply that hundreds of NFTs have disappeared. It's how FREEDZ connects its philosophy with its economics. The artwork questions freedom, control and the systems influencing our decisions. The burn mechanism creates another system of incentives influencing those same decisions. Keep the art. Or destroy it for its economic value. One preserves the collectible. The other increases scarcity. There's something fascinating about an art project questioning human freedom while giving holders a financial reason to sacrifice the artwork itself. Whether this creates sustainable value depends on demand, volume and community engagement. But FREEDZ is experimenting with something different. Making destruction part of the collecting experience, rather than simply the end of an NFT's life. And that leaves me with one question: Can an NFT collection make destruction part of its identity without letting the financial incentive consume the art itself?
INTRODUCING FREEDZ What if the words we write freely are the things that imprison us? FREEDZ is an 8,888-piece deflationary PFP collection exploring freedom, control, and the machines shaping our world. A hidden world. A sacrificed word. A question. Are we really free? Here's the story:

Quick 🧵 of my informed speculation and expectations for the @OthersideMeta resource economy: The "loop" of the resource economy is this: Lands produce resources - which are ERC20 tokens with value - which can be harvested and then sold for apecoin:native, and/or crafted for items (think weapons, upgrades to ships/vehicles, structures, etc). Many of these items help you generate/harvest/steal more resources and thus ERC20s. This is, in effect, gamified yield from owning and using @OthersideMeta assets. 1/6
Soon, for the first time, Voyagers will be able to land on Otherdeeds. Not just look at them on a map, but actually explore them, harvest resources, and start putting that land to work. Let's talk about what happens when you hit the surface.
