Remembering Dónal Lunny, one of Ireland's most celebrated musicians, who has died aged 79 🤍 During his last appearance on the #LateLate in January of this year, the multi-instumentalist became the first inductee into our Trad Music Hall of Fame - a testament to his influence and the impact he had on the genre over the years. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

The NGO industrial complex needs a severe overhaul in transparency - all of their bank account's should be made public.

If they want to make a video about it we should send over the Irish team who don't even want your granny giving you a hug. I feel relieved that at least there are complete fools in Scotland too
"Gosh, why are the mummy displays so dark and opaque? Must be the lights are broken. I should go tell them downstairs," I thought to myself while recently wandering around the Redpath Museum at McGill University. Then I read the sign. 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

The folks who hate guns (most of whom never actually held one, and think only psychos or hillbillies want them), never think about why a person might need one, not everywhere is like Europe. Without this protection that man and his daughter would probably be brown bread.

This will of course fail to include 'diversity of thought'.
This is exactly what Goebbels would be doing if he were alive.

The far left have melded with islamo-fascism to the point they are indistinguishable from one another - that nonsense started in Europe and has clearly spread.
Two days ago, Australian MP Helen Haines was deliberately run over twice by a pro-Palestine activist outside her office. Today, both her legs were amputated. Despite her speaking out about Gaza, he still didn’t consider it enough, so he tried to murder her. This is the Palestinian cult at its core, a terrorist movement.

The brand of thinking in that video is entrenched and empowered by government, the ngos are simply an out-of-control mouthpiece, ever expanding as expected
The video produced by the DRCC involving grandparents does not represent the views of the Government. It was both inappropriate and demeaning to grandparents and has been removed by DRCC following my officials engagement with them.

At this rate, the only affordable thing in Europe will be the promise of affordable housing.🇪🇺 @EU_Commission “The Commission gathers 100+ financial experts to help unlock investment in affordable housing.” Yessss!! We're finally solving the housing crisis! 🥳 Oh, wait. “In the next 18 months the Group will bring experts together in thematic sub-groups and plenary discussions.” No, no! 18 months of meetings, discussions, frameworks and toolkits. Apparently, Europe's housing crisis can wait. The meetings cannot!

Page built something amazing that almost everybody uses, Newsom is a nepo-boy who wrecks California and thinks everybody agrees with him.
JUST IN: 🇺🇸 Google co-founder Larry Page spends $173 million on two Miami mansions and moves his family office to Florida to avoid California's proposed billionaire tax.

France has short workweeks; public and social spending, as shares of GDP, above the European Union average; a fiscal policy that could hardly be further from austerity; heavily regulated labor markets; and extraordinarily generous paid vacation entitlements. In short, it has everything an opponent of neoliberalism could wish for their own country. France is also home to advocates of degrowth and even more burdensome redistributive policies. Economists like Thomas Piketty urge other countries to impose higher tax rates and introduce new taxes to combat inequality. Yesterday, France was engulfed in flames. Police forces were overwhelmed by violent, opportunistic mobs engaged in widespread destruction and looting, for whom the very notion of private property seemed either alien or laughable. And what do many blame for the chaos? Neoliberalism, of course. Let that sink in, fellas.

A thorough analysis of the scope of capital departure from Britain by Brian Monteith in the Telegraph. "Available evidence suggests the scale of the capital loss is likely around £200bn to £250bn in just two years," explains Monteith, with copious evidence. "An obvious example of business displacement is the quadrupling of the number of British members of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, from 2,402 active Chamber members at the end of 2020 to 10,334 in March 2026. While some of these cases will involve British companies establishing a presence in Dubai, most are likely to be new operations in Dubai run by British citizens". "Of course", notes Monteith, "those who have left will no longer be expanding their wealth in the UK. Those who would otherwise have stayed to build their businesses will be doing it elsewhere, and fewer will arrive to build wealth here. In the long run, this is probably the most significant factor". "All of [the anti-wealth] policies will have to be reversed by a future government if truly wealthy individuals are to be attracted back and those becoming successful here in future are not encouraged to also leave. Full abolition of inheritance tax is by far the most sensible policy".

Totally depressing, and the community note is like 'they weren't married'... That just makes it all the worse, getting put to death for something so trivial?
Trending Story: Saudi Arabia has exe/cuted two Bangladeshi nationals, Nazrul Islam Abdul Basir and Siri Akhtar, following conviction of immoral sexual act inside a mosque in Mecca. The “immoral act” was apparently a kiss on the forehead. They were newlyweds who decided to spend their honeymoon in Mecca. According to reports in Bangladesh, Saudi authorities refused to consider they were a couple, and the forehead kiss was an expression of appreciation to Allah for a beautiful bride. Their bodies have arrived in Bangladesh in two coffins for traditional burial rites. Follow @TrendingEx for dailies..

Men are a multiple of times more likely to die in car accidents, so seeing their support for autonomous cars is probably a good thing. Why women are in the 'ban them' camp is probably just blue-hair misandryst rage-lefties who just hate elon musk.
39% of men support allowing self driving cars, versus 32% wanting to ban them. Among women, 19% support allowing, compared to 48% wanting a ban.
