6 is CRAZY. I wasn’t left home alone until I was 13/14. I was in the 8th grade at the least & it was only if my parents went to the store or something quick.

One skill I’m learning to value more is emotional regulation. Knowing how to stay calm under pressure, sit with uncomfortable feelings, and not let people pull you out of character.
