Just listening to 'The Best Jewel Thief In The World' by Prefab Sprout. Is there a better British songwriter and lyricist than Paddy McAloon?

Just loving the joy in the replies to this. The world is full of beautiful music.

Thanks to @DCMS and @ace_national for continuing to support us through the current crisis and on the road to reopening and recovery via the Culture Recovery Fund.
Their ongoing help will ensure we will be back open soon, and will continue to be #HereForCulture

Those in the events industry, the freelance sector which has been a growing part of our economy over the past 20 years, and who have started new businesses, have been hung out to dry in receiving no support. We have a duty to do more for them. The @ExcludedUK should be included.

Support everyone or support no one. The disparity between the rest of the country and that of the 3 million #ExcludedUK goes against everything this country stands for. Stand up now!!! @SadiqKhan @Jesse_Norman @JohnGlenUK

Support the small businesses otherwise this 800k figure will be just the beginning. Many are hanging on by a thread right now and need support urgently. #ExcludedUK @EstherMcVey1 @DJWarburton bbc.com/news/business-553137…

Big businesses are doing the right thing by returning funds that they didn’t need. Now it’s it’s your turn to do the right thing @RishiSunak @JohnGlenUK and allocate these funds to the #Excludeduk community that so desperately need it. standard.co.uk/business/busi…

The shocking scale of Tory contract cronyism revealed here. British businesses overlooked, troubling patterns with those given work, vast incompetence.
This is turning into a global scandal. This government must clean up its crony contracts now.

When @hmtreasury pop off for their Christmas break soon I do hope they think about the 3 million viable businesses and individuals you’ve left stricken and desperate for Christmas. Jobs ruined, businesses ruined, lives ruined. #weareviable #Excludeduk @Jesse_Norman @JohnGlenUK

When asked about support for #ForgottenLtd, the usual response from @RishiSunak is to list help available to others. Is this a genuine lack of understanding, or simply a convenient way to avoid addressing this urgent issue?#DISS @SirGrahamBrady @SkyNews

Disgusting.
In Parliament, I just challenged Jacob Rees-Mogg about UNICEF having to feed working class kids in the UK.
His reply? "UNICEF should be ashamed of itself". He accused it of "playing politics".
It's shameful for kids to go hungry. It's not shameful to feed them.

If you’re not #ExcludedUK just have a think about these 3 million people this Christmas. Totally let down by our government through no fault of their own. Something is broken!!! @SadiqKhan @AndyBurnhamGM
Three million freelancers and small business owners are excluded from government support,
It's taking a toll on their mental wellbeing.
The Government must support them. @ExcludedUK
What about us? Event companies, hotels, conference centres, are we supposed to survive on fresh air? #bringbackChristmas #WeMakeEvents #LetTheMusicPlay

One problem with the Self Employment income support scheme (grant 3 opened yest) is its binary.
If you qualify even if you're only down 10% you get WHOLE amount (poss £7,500).
Had it been more graduated, it wouldn't have cost much more to expand to many who were #ExcludedUK

Is this just more misinformation from @RishiSunak ?
When was he in touch and with whom? We are not aware of any contact.
Stop the rot @RishiSunak & face up to meeting those #excluded
