Thankful my children were granted Citizenship automatically under the Child Citizenship of 2000 but there are loopholes and they need to be fixed #HR2731 #Citizenship4Adoptees No child who was brought to the USA through adoption should face deportation!

#HR2731 would grant #Citizenship4Adoptees restoring #adopted #Americans’ rights, allow unjustly deported #adoptees to reunite w/ their families, & correct the unequal treatment of adopted and bio. kids of US citizens. It’s common sense: pass #HR2731 NOW.

As the child of US citizens, EVERY #adoptee is entitled to citizenship & was promised a permanent home. Period. Congress made citizenship automatic upon #adoption but left out those born before 1983. Fix the loophole, pass #HR2731 #Citizenship4Adoptees.
