Well yeah we are being rewarded for being better at the game than every other role
I would rather have a Midlaner AUTOFILLED on JG/AD/SUP than someone on role aside for a few exceptional players (Toplane is pure matchup knowledge so i exclude this role)
Midlaners have more game knowledge overall and are required to understand how to play every class of champion because of how other roles influence our lane/meta
Im Rank 5 and waited 40 minutes for this game
If I'm going to wait this long at least let it be for a Challenger lobby
Kalista is Z tier right now and somehow nobody is talking about it.
I'm 79% WR over 19 games so far.
I go the exact same build/runes every game:
• First base: Dark Seal + Cull (Strong 800g buy)
• Vamp boots 99% of games unless Mercs/Tabis are
necessary
• Shiv -> Rageblade -> Terminus -> Jaksho/Defenses
You just vacuum the entire map and take over almost every game. Literally 10-13 CS/min on easy mode.
Never go Cutdown or Sudden impact on Kalista
Coup + Conditioning/Overgrowth is giga OP for this champion.
How is this Elitism? There's a reason the game is different at levels such as:
Tier 1 (LCK, LEC, LCS)
Tier 2 (LCK Academy, EU masters, NACL)
Challenger SoloQ
There's already a gap between the average Challenger player and the Tier 2 player despite their LP being near the same
Now imagine the gap between someone who is 2000 LP vs someone who is 500 LP.
Ranking systems exist to allow you to play against players close to your same skill level.
What is the point of climbing thousands of LP to still play with those who only have hundreds?
ADC players crying about mages/off-meta bot are just self reporting as bad players no?
The role quest didn't magically make non-marksmen viable in botlane, it just gave players an incentive to finally try picks that were ALREADY strong
Every other role is expected to understand multiple classes, adapt to different metas, and expand their champ pool
But ADC players get asked to learn something besides marksmen for once and suddenly the role is ruined XD
Don't mistake your inability to adapt for the game being unbalanced.

IGN + Flash 95% of games
Go TP if your lane is completely unplayable without it, Ryze/TF/Galio for example
IGN + TP is also an option however I dislike playing without flash as having it creates many opportunities to start a snowball
Build:
Lichbane -> Shadowflame (CORE)
2 items is your strongest point in the game and you will only become weaker as the game goes on. Super important for you to fight every objective and drop side waves if needed to hover your duo lane on mid
Mejai's/Dcap/Zhonya/Banshee/Void/Liandry's are your next item choices depending on the situation
Starting items:
Dark seal + Refill pot 95% of games
Doran's Shield if matchup hard lvls 1-3
How to play:
Your goal is to survive lane until you have 400g, if you're up against a good player you'll usually have this amount on the cannon wave (4th wave) due to them knowing how to punish your weak early game.
Buy Doran's Ring.
When you combine Dring/Dseal/65 hp rune, you're getting a total of 205 bonus hp as early as level 4 which allows you to take more trades in lane when electrocute/sudden impact is up.
Even if I'm basing with 850g I still prefer Dring + Amp tome over a blasting wand just because of the hp.
