I’m old enough to remember when Dems had a filibuster proof majority in the Senate and had the House and the White House and didn’t protect Roe or pass gun reform. Voting alone isn’t enough- we need better Democrats.
The Maine school decision (Carson v. Makin) is just one step in that direction. We’re regressing closer to “separate but equal” (but not really).
