We are all shocked and saddened to hear of the untimely passing of our friend and fellow music obsessive Rae Donaldson. Our thoughts are with his loved ones, friends and all the @vinylexchange family.

If you tune in on Tues 5th to the @maryannehobbs show between 10.30-1pm on @BBC6Music you’ll hear me! A little pre-record I did for Art Is Everywhere about why I paint portraits of motorway bridges. Here’s my top 3 I mention at the end.

So proud to be opening Pride as part of the Human Rights Forum on Friday. Come down. Share the love. Stop the hate.
🌈 HUMAN RIGHTS FORUM 🌈
The Human Rights Forum is a protest, a demonstration against systemic issues and a catalyst for change. It’s a platform for reflection, learning, and inspiration, and you’re invited!
We’re thrilled to announce this year’s theme ‘Stop the Hate’, honouring the 20th anniversary of the repeal of Section 28 and celebrating the collective strength of the LGBTQ+ community in challenging and changing wider discriminatory practices in politics, media, and legislation.
Join us on Friday 25th August at the Alan Turing Stage in Sackville Gardens to hear from our incredible line-up of speakers;
Cheddar Gorgeous • Charlie Craggs • mandla • HUSK • Kath McDermott • Ben Pechey • Prof. Catherine Lee • Dominic Lawson
NOTHING ABOUT US WITHOUT US: After the Human Rights Forum, visit our Activism Hub on Community Lane over the weekend to help take action — you’ll get the opportunity to write to your MP to ask for them to advocate for the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) to implement an independent panel of trans and non-binary people.
