Our fresh study illustrates how experts learned from others, reflected and changed their assumptions during the inter- and #transdisciplinary process of the @IPBES Values Assessment. The study has just been published at Environmental Science & Policy🤓: doi.org/10.1016/j.envsci.202…
ALT Figure from our article that pictures "learning as a multi-level and interactive process with cognitive, relational and transformative dimensions that are linked to social contexts and individual experiences with collaborative practices. Overlapping portions of the Venn diagram illustrate the possibilities for learning outcomes at the intersections of the three learning dimensions. These outcomes result from reflexive self-consideration of epistemic worldviews and social contexts."

A sobering message from a history teacher:
I’ve spent years teaching American and international government — from strong democracies like the UK to authoritarian regimes like russia and China.
But lately, the most alarming lesson comes from home.

The heroic fight of Ukraine against Russia’s war of agression is about the existence of Ukraine as a nation. We in Finland understand what Ukraine is going through.
Ukraine is fighting not only for her independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, but also for European security, freedom and the rules-based world order. Ukraine and its democratically elected leaders deserve all our respect and support.
We will stand by Ukraine for as long as it takes.
@ZelenskyyUA
Ukrainan urhoollisessa puolustustaistelussa on kyse koko kansakunnan selviytymisestä. Suomalaisina me ymmärrämme tämän.
Me suomalaiset ymmärrämme Ukrainan taistelun vapauden ja itsenäisyyden puolesta. Ukrainan asia on meidän.
We Finns understand Ukraine’s struggle for freedom and independence. Ukraine’s cause is ours.

Russia illegally and unjustifiably invaded Ukraine.
For three years now, Ukrainians have fought with courage and resilience. Their fight for democracy, freedom, and sovereignty is a fight that matters to us all.
Canada will continue to stand with Ukraine and Ukrainians in achieving a just and lasting peace.

There is an aggressor: Russia.
There is a victim: Ukraine.
We were right to help Ukraine and sanction Russia three years ago—and to keep doing so.
By “we,” I mean the Americans, the Europeans, the Canadians, the Japanese, and many others.
Thank you to all who have helped and continue to do so. And respect to those who have been fighting since the beginning—because they are fighting for their dignity, their independence, their children, and the security of Europe.
Katri Mäkinen-Rostedt retweeted
Your dignity honors the bravery of the Ukrainian people.
Be strong, be brave, be fearless.
You are never alone, dear President @ZelenskyyUa.
We will continue working with you for a just and lasting peace.

Ukraine is Europe!
We stand by Ukraine.
We will step up our support to Ukraine so that they can continue to fight back the agressor.
Today, it became clear that the free world needs a new leader. It’s up to us, Europeans, to take this challenge.
