Storms are a way of life for us in the Gulf South. This time we are safe but I would never wish tragedy on anyone. @KatrinaBabies showed us the long term impact of what one storm can do to lives and communities. Be kind. – at New Orleans, LA

Please watch “Katrina Babies” this is such an important doc. Most of the subjects were children during Katrina and no one ever asked them about their experience. @KatrinaBabies @ebucklesjr thank you for making this - your stories deserve to be heard.

Panel discussion today on the Trauma of Katrina. As stress neuroscientists at #StressAllostasis2022 in NOLA, we wanted to hear from the city. Watched the trailer for @KatrinaBabies moved us to tears. Powerful. 17 yrs later, trauma for so many. #AskTheChildren.

"Resilience is when u still find a way to have your head up & help yourself. But sometimes I feel like resilience is used like a tool, bc they want people to think, oh no these people are good, they're strong, look how much they've overcome." @KatrinaBabies
