We had it that way. The root, encouragement, and (unlikely)solution to that division all come from the same person.
Solution is not voting for people with that agenda. But fear mongering is more simple for that base to rally behind.
We need to figure out a way to keep Politics from dividing us. The crazy thing is if we had conversations with each other and we had no idea about what side we were on, 99% of us would get along. We experience that every day with strangers. People need to realize that different things are important to different people and that's ok. That's normal. Not everyone is your enemy.
