Today I drove for the first time in a week. This is not an easy task in a place like Nashville that is pretty hostile towards pedestrians and has laughable public transit.
I want you to know that it's doable. Almost all of my trips this week were via my Radwagon ebike.
I guess I'm gonna start writing about music again. And taking photos again. Sometimes, probably.

three things keeping me sane this morning:
1. nashville's transit plan passed!
2. my 2 year old learning how to blow raspberries on my stomach
3. coffee

This is such a good song to bike to on a casual fall morning:

I wish we could have these in Nashville. Beautiful and effective.
Bike parklets are bringing some natural colour to Hackney 🌿🚲
☀️ Situated outside The Fisheries, a community driven coworking space in a 200 year old renovated warehouse, the parklets help to promote a sustainable working environment.
🚴 They provide an increased number of safe locations to lock bikes belonging to those both working there and commuting through London fields station, as well as cargo bikes used by parents or small businesses in the area.
🌱 Plus - filled with a variety of plants, bulbs, perennials and evergreens, the parklet planters help to attract pollinators and will provide structure and greenery all year round.

One day earlier than anticipated thanks to a hash browns emergency. #choosehowyoumove
I wish we could take pedestrian and bike safety seriously in this city.
