I’m looking for my next role.
I created SWC (swc.rs), the Rust-based open-source transpiler used by Next.js, Rspack, Node.js’s amaro, Parcel 2, and other projects.
I maintained Next.js and Turbopack at Vercel and previously worked with Deno.
My expertise is in developer tooling and performance optimization. I enjoy digging deep into difficult technical problems, and I’m open to new challenges across fields.
I prefer roles that let me work remotely from Korea. If you’d like to work together or know a team that could be a good fit, please DM me.

In the next release, Rspack will support `codeFilter` for loaders ⚡
Run a loader only on modules containing specific code, such as a "use foo" directive.
Skip unnecessary transforms and speed up your builds

Lakebed, Postplan, and Shoo will be down indefinitely until Railway gets their shit fixed and I can actually redeploy them with rolled keys.
Incidents happen. I understand.
Blocking deploys so we can roll keys without downtime is unacceptable. I'm disappointed in Railway.
An urgent notice from the Railway team

🔐 Node.js security updates are now available!
New releases for Node.js 22.x, 24.x & 26.x address multiple vulnerabilities, including high-severity issues.
Review the details and update your systems to stay secure.

I wish the people releasing early pocs to one of the most severe RCEs in history a very fuck you
A moron has released a POC early for php2shell so here is what you need to do:
If you’re on version prior to 8.2:
Edit php.ini: session.upload_progress.enabled = Off
Then reload php-fpm and restart apache
If you’re on later version:
Update (it’ll be available in a few hours)
In any case, the mitigation for the php.ini should work either way. Not sure if it’ll cover both vulns though so keep an eye on that. I’ll be reporting on follow up activity on windows as a target.
Good luck!

Hey, doing that right now.
We are happy to support swc.rs with free macro runners minutes: codspeed.io/docs/features/ma…!
New sideproject of mine :)
Introducing Nyte
Everyone wants to build their own agent harness. I think that's the wrong direction. So I built Nyte as the foundation. It extends and can be built upon to make whatever you want
nyte.sh
You'll hate the choices I made, but here are things I made with nyte ↓

Just realized T3 Code can automatically update remote servers, too. If you’ve ever had to handle those updates yourself, you’ll understand why that matters.
We just shipped an updated T3 Code Stable release with over 1,400 changes 🤯
Quick highlight reel of my favorites:
- Massive perf wins on desktop and mobile
- Add a project to another machine from the "Run on" menu
- EAS Simulator remote hosts for iOS dev
- PR diffs now show code vs tests vs docs at a glance
- Idle Claude threads compact early so the cache stays warm (beta)
- Mobile got a big native pass. It finally feels native
- `t3 doctor` can reclaim database space
- `t3 connect` now checks your machine is reachable, and errors say how to fix them
- Webhook tasks got filters and dedupe
- Skill discovery is much more reliable
- Tons of Windows, terminal, and scroll fixes
Least favorite: I caved, LaTeX renders on web and mobile
Also heads up, we're getting a bit more experimental with how we treat Nightly, so now would be a good time to move back to stable :)

I didn't pass the Anthropic Cyber Verification Program because I use the personal account sponsored by Anthropic. Note: Node.js does not have a Claude company account.
At this point, using top AI models for security is becoming a matter for the few elected.
How are we supposed to keep Node.js and other critical infrastructure safe?

There were reports of usage draining faster than anticipated for some users over the weekend. We've identified approximately 40,000 accounts that had an inconsistency on which usage limits where the actual usage that was applied did not correspond to their actual selected plan. We are reaching out individually to all these users and have corrected the issue. If this affected you, we'll add credits to your account. Sorry we got this wrong.
I built a crate to easily generate structured data!

I’m so happy. @Cloudflare did it!

I’m considering Rust again for backend work after using Go. Last time, starting multiple servers with separate `cargo run` commands in one workspace was painfully slow because of the build lock.
Are there any open-source tools that help with this?
I’m so happy. @Cloudflare did it!

I spent ~$512 experimenting with JSONLLM. Some of that went to avoidable mistakes. Batching fields helped, but accuracy and structure generation fell short. I still haven’t built the JSON API I wanted.

PoC of TypeNative: Desktop app framework based on Blitz (by @dioxuslabs) and scriptc
Not sure this is practical right now, but I think it still has potential.
I see huge potential in scriptc from @vercel Labs. If the performance is good enough, I’d switch my go-to language from Go to TypeScript. Easier code sharing alone is a compelling reason—and TypeScript has plenty more going for it.
I realized that I need to try bazel again.
I hated configuring it by hand, for sure, but it would be very different these days.

Since September, we have been unable to publish because every URL under `PUT registry.npmjs.org/@trpc/` is being blocked by a @npmjs @Cloudflare WAF. You can even prove it locally, they've just wholesale blocked our npm scope.
Support have not yet done anything to help.
anyone from @npmjs that can have a look at request #4870687 from me?
nick tried first but got a non-response
